I just bought the following string sets for some testing on a new racquet:
Klip Venom 17
Klip Kicker 17
Gosen OG Sheep Micro Super 17
SPPP 17
Ashaway Dynamite 17
Can anyone tell me if any of those need "special consideration" for string tension? That is, do any of them need to be strung higher or lower than normal tension? I've read about some strings that need to be strung 10-15% lower than normal in certain cases. Also, some strings are just naturally more elastic, so they might be better off being strung a bit higher in certain cases to knock the power down. But I don't know which ones those would be.
I have never strung a racquet before, so I will be practicing on some cheap nylon that I obtained, but once I get the hang of stringing, I'll want to start investigating these new sets and don't want to screw them up if I can avoid it.
Thanks for any assistance.
