There seems to be a special version like this for the Us Open, but not for the previous tournaments at Flushing Meadows.

It's a hot shoe. Having never heard of a "condo pool" or an "early bird dinner hot spot" (USA exclusives no doubt, like Don Trump and Cinnabons); as awesome as that sounds, I can only marvel at how there are actually people somewhere in the world for whom dining practicality equates with style.

If you see it as splattered clay and not as splashed paint, it all fits the clay court theme
. Its just a progression from the surfer dude graphics Nike was showcasing in the tournaments earlier in the year.

Looks like TWE will be getting some Nike clay shoes for Q3...not on this round of colors though.
(I'll send an email to the buyer over there and ask when they are planning on launching them!)

The plain black is an older prototype, not the final retail version. The one with the stripe is the correct one. Or the other way around.

The retail version of the RF jacket does not have a hydrangea stripe on the shoulders. The sleeves are all black. I double checked our stock. Earlier retail samples had the hydrangea stripe.

It looks cooler in Nike's opinion. Can you imagine just a '10'? Like for Fed's shirt they had to put the majors and years he won with the number 18. If they had just put a 18 there it would be just silly.
