Oh no, Blisters.

I have got blisters on my right hand from tourna grip :(.
But thats not the problem, I also have leather underneath.

So I was wondering if I switched to a softer, smoother and less rough OG does that mean I can keep the leather under?
Or does it have to go?

was there any change in conditions? more heat? did you sweat more?

was your grip moving around in your hand at all while hitting? Repetive movement can really dig in and create blisters

i think poorly wrapped overgrips and be a factor too

that being said, firmer grips can lead to blisters quicker then soft, so could just be the leather

I think it just goes with the territory that if you play tennis a lot, your palm will start developing blisters and eventually turn into callouses, no matter what grip or overgrip you use. Don't see why you have to get rid of the leather if you have an OG over it.

Tourna grips are known to give blisters. You might want to switch to Wilson Pro Overgrip or Yonex Supergraps. Also, if the blister is occuring on your fingers, put a band-aid on and wrap the band-aid with a layer of athletic tape.

I just bought prestige pro overgrip, its fairly soft and not very rough (but tackier than I expected, but no biggy).

Ill try the athletic tape idea out. thanks guys
