Isner/Roddick also lost in the first round to Melo/Soares, in straight sets no less. :shock:

Should we call #4 seed Furstenberg/Matkowski's loss to Ferrer/Lopez an upset?

On the patriotic side, both French teams won, with oddly symmetric scorelines.

lost money on the murrays losing, made it back with isner/roddick losing and ferrer/lopez winning

the seedings here are pretty unreliable, i wouldnt pay too much attention to them. the bryan bros are top seeds and i wouldnt have them more than an outside chance to win

if anyone watches a lotta dc doubles and knows how some of these pairs play together then its worth castin an eye over the odds. the bookies are massively overfavouring doubles specialists and teams with high profile singles players. lots of very juicy returns on the teams that have top 50 singles players with some dubs pedigree

im not game 2 put much money on an overall medal winner (too unpredictable) but theres smart money 2 be made on individual matches

Good to see you put your money where your mouth is - too many on here don't. I did say that the Murrays were unlikely to do much. That said, from what I hear, it was Jamie who was the weak link yesterday - I was also wrong about Flemchins, who I had as genuine dark horses. Oh well - that's sport for ya!
