Has anyone played with the Pro level overgrip? what is your opinion?

I am considering to buy a few packs because tourna grips are hard to find in buenos aires...

Thats the first I have ever seen of these grips. The only OGs I knew TF made were the players wrap OGs.

The close up seems to make them look textured and more like a Tourna grip. Get some and lemme know, as know I am curious.

Thank you. The OEM TF grips get slick at the butt for me and I would be very interested in something more absorbent. Thickness/thinness is also a deal maker/breaker.

BTW, just noticed you are in BA. I will be in Uruguay late this year and will be coming to BA. Looking for hitting partners... Ciao.

First impression:
i put a pro level (red) in my t10 mid. Is not like a tourna grip. The only thing that comes to my mind to compare this OG is the black Wilson H2O...(being the wilson a little thicker).
The player wrap, on the other hand, is not like the real player`s OG (wilson pro and supergrap). Is thicker and probably less absorbant and less tacky.

I will be playing only in a few weeks (i`m recovering from a rotator cuff injury), so,you must have to wait a little for a more detailed review.

Thanks for the grip review. Yes, I will email you before I come to Uruguay & Argentina. I am looking forward to playing on clay almost as much as enjoying the food & wine :) Thanks again!

Played with "player wrap" today. Wasn`t that bad as i was thinking. Feels nice, is not like a wilson pro or a supergrap, but could be a good replacement to those.
The "pro level" feels like a softer Wilson H2O, not bad.
I will update the thread with the "durabilty" review...

the "players wrap" is definitively better than the red "pro level".
I`ve been using this og for a few weeks and works ad feels fine, nothing to envy to wilson and yonex (and it cost less than those, at least here in Argentina).
It last many hours (around 5/6 hs) without loosing tackiness. I will buy them again...

Yes, for me too. Buy the Wilson Pro overgrip, and you will not have that problem again. I never use the OEM grip on the TF, I just keep a fresh Wilson Pro on top, and it is perfect!

Thanks for the feedback, any thicker than Supergrap? I would love something with similar tackiness but a bit more thickness to build the grip very slightly.

Well, dumb ass that I am, I finally realized that the main reason for the slick bottom on my grips was sweat dripping from my wrist support. I added a sweat band and it helped a lot. Wrist support is gone, but sweat band remains. Using Supergrap over XTRA now.

Not really, both are similar. Of course, i prefer the yonex, but the tecni isnt bad at all.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I will stick with Supergrap -- and I still have 1 1/2 30 packs left. It's still working good for me. Nice to know about a good option for when I am away from home though.
