pat mac on 1st & 10...

was watching espn this morning and pat mac was on 1st &10. just thought it was odd that they would have him on the show talking about college football, barry bonds and the yankees manager dilemma. he did a great job imo. he must have been filling in for someone... any comments?

Filling in for someone? Nah, they routinely have different guests on the show.

The Stews are pretty funny and seem to own Skip almost everytime they are on there. Pat Mac was okay today.

He was filling in for DP show on the ESPN radio probably 4-5 months ago, and he was doing a great job, I thought. The guy probably at least knows what's going on in other professional sports daily (doesn't mean in details), so he doesn't make himself a fool when he talks.

Same here, but I thought he did a sub-par job compared to the regulars on that show.

I thought he did a solid job. Tough to compare to the regulars who have been doing it for years and years...
