Hopefully right after Christmas I'm going to be ordering a pair of Babolat AeroPro Drive '13 tennis racquets. In the mains I'm going to put Volkl Cyclone Tour 18 in one racquet and Babolat RPM Blast 18 in the other so I can compare these two strings side by side.

Recently the crosses I've liked the best are Volkl Classic Synthetic Gut 1.25 and Volkl Cyclone 1.20. Eventually I will probably end up giving both of them a shot once I decide which of the mains I like best.

So, in your opinion, should I start out with the Volkl Classic Synthetic Gut 1.25 in the crosses or the Volkl Cyclone 1.20 poly in the crosses?

THE 2ND CHOICE SHOULD BE CYCLONE 1.20 (not the Tour version)!!!

Thanks.

TripleB,

Did you ever try the SYN GUT and Cyclone together? I am thinking of trying the V-Torque though hoping the larger Gut would last almost as long...

Thanks for any follow up on what you have tried since this posting.
