Had many nice points on this day, but I'm especially happy with this one. I achieved everything I was going for, and finally succeeded at attacking the weaker wing.

btw, nice drop volley
I see you have accepted Suresh into your heart
TTPS recently sent me his 3 year update video.
In the last doubles match of the year, I caught one of my best serves on video. Everything went right and the ball just popped off the strings. Felt great!
Thanks man. Yeah he was just lazy. It was my strategy to give him game after game and lull him to sleep so I could make that return vid....@Shroud great returning. A couple were clearly unplayable. Interesting how we become deer in the headlights out there. If your opponent had taken a couple of steps back when serving allowing himself more time to play the ball he would have been in the rallies.

You can do this with your forehand as well, believe in yourself, you can do it!Satisfying as heck.
I've hogged this thread a little, but...this is truly my best collection of highlights to date, and it was all from one session.
It's especially heartening, looking back to one year ago. All of you noticed that my backhand wing was extremely lacking, and now...hopefully its journey speaks for itself. I feel massive confidence every time I wind one up, no matter the incoming ball. (Drive BH, that is...slice still needs work.)
Why doesnt TTPS post anymore?
Thank you. I’m trying to get my health back. I was hospitalized w an aortic dissection last year. Since I got back on the court I feel sluggish w my foot work. But was probably still bad before I got sick.Good hitting! Hope your friend is okay. 3.0 is definitely too low for you, you’re easily a high 3.5 if not a solid 4.0.
Technique may not be perfect but you’re getting decent pace and depth and you have a decent shot selection that you know how to use.
Of course these ratings are based on match play but based on what I see here I would say you are a solid 4.0

At least you know you’re relaxedfeeling pretty good about this
They always said keep a loose grip right? At least you know you’re relaxed
The purple one? If so you got some good one hand backhand shotsGot around to recording a proper set for once, was pretty fun (i'm the one in the Fed Uniqlo shorts) - the guy I played has barely played in months but rips forehands with no noticeable wind up , he also had a chance to play Thanasi Kokkinakis when they were in high school
That's awesome! If you are around bay area I would love to hit with you some timesThanks brother - considering it's been my major weakness my whole tennis life, up until 6 months ago I was still opting to slice in matches only and couldn't hit 1HBH's at all, but after moving towards hitting them in practice, now I'm much more confident to go for them in matchplay. Used to be like 95% slice and 5% topspin, but now it's around 60% topspin and 40% slice. Albeit I am trying to make it look nicer, but at least it goes in now
Yah upstanding citizen TTPS was truly victimized!Alot of people dont really post in this section much anymore. Too many bad apples lately and the mods wont ban them

Do you ever visit Bali?Would love to have a hit with more people everywhere, but I live in Australia my guess is you're in US?
I grew up with a double when i was young, but never felt comfortable hitting it, I trained for years with it and still had no idea how to hit it - but been watching Federer since 2000 or so and took on the 1 hander late into high school when I stopped training alot, so never got to properly practice it
Appreciate the kind words - I personally think it's a big ugly, including my forehand, i'm trying to lengthen my strokes and have better posture / or better footwork, something along those lines to make it look more pro like
I’m there quite a bit. Let me know if you go.Lol haven't been in a couple years, but I have been, was supposed to go fairly recently but couldn't make it
Even had a hit with my girlfriend in one of the indoor facilities with crappy hired equipment, no tennis shoes or proper sports clothes , fun times
You live there?

I'm in Melbourne, AO every year

Fairly often.Are you in Bali?
If you are in an NTSC country, record video at 24 or 30fps or 60fpsMy 2nd match coming off wrist injury and 2nd time playing on HC in 2 years.
Loved the court but my hips and back didn't. I'm the one in black.
Sorry for my Chinese phone's potato camera though afterwards I've found out flickering noise is caused by discrepancy in camera's FPS and frequency of the light.

I'm in PAL zone. I'll try appropriate fps next time. Thanks. If you are in an NTSC country, record video at 24 or 30fps or 60fps
If PAL, then 25 or 50fps
Thank you. I'm trying hard to suppress my inner pusher. For someone born to slice, you hit through the ball well and often.
Great play. Thanks for posting.
Not playing well, but just happy to be able to hit from time to time. Been trying to get back into tennis after coming back home to Cali, but my body is saying nope! lol Hit w/ @djNEiGht last time when my left knee gave out. Went back out last week w/ another buddy, but it was rough. Can’t move like I used too.
I am a 3.5C or dynamic rating of 3.1 and only played one mixed doubles match this year due to my nagging injuries.
You can waste a few minutes of your life watching this sesh here:
Edit: I am the small one w/ the blade 98 cv 18x20.
