Pressurized vs. Non-Pressurized Tennis Balls

What are actually used in most pro tournaments, more specifically the Slams? My guess would be pressurized, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. Thanks.

I played with pressureless balls on Wed, it was the strangest feeling, annoying sound, but it was good, since they last forever. I didn't feel like opening a new can so we went with that for some dubs.

Nope, they felt like they were flying of my racket faster..like I could thump them just because they were pressureless, huh. They're not like heavy or anything, it's like hitting pure rubber really.

oh your talking about a non-pressured ball yes they probably will work just fine and good luck on the kick :)

Yeah I need all the luck I can get. Its so inconsistent. I should just stick to a slice second serve. I have a bunch of pressureless balls in a hopper I use for service practice. Its good they last forever because I dont use them nearly as often as I should.

just to make sure were talking about the right thing pressure less balls die after hitting them for along them but even if there dead there good for serving but you won't get that high of a kick that you want or you won't see that like fast bouncing weird movement towards the opponent if its dead

non-pressure less balls don't die but like storm_kuryi said they fly off the racket and its just like hitting rubber but yeah I guess just use non_pressure less balls practicing the kick

Pressureless not dead. Is what I am using. They feel like rocks and make weird sound. They seem to bounce as well as a regular new ball when I do my very scientific bounce test.

I think TRETORN MICRO X ball are a decent alternative for practice balls especially if you do not play regularly with new balls that you can use for practice. The Penn and other pressureless are terrible.

I have the Tretorns in my ball machine and sometimes they get mixed into my practice balls and I do not notice if I do not feed the balls.

If you want to see how well your kick serve is progressing, then you'll need to use pressurized balls. They should bounce quite a bit higher.
