Been using it a fair bit, bought a 2nd one, they are a really good frame. Most arm friendly racquet I have found so far, and stable even without any added lead or weight, other than to replace the stock grip with a leather grip then overgrip. Serves well, volleys well, generates decent spin, hits great groundstrokes, is solid on returns, doesn't have any ugly offcentre spots that hurt your arm. Can't fault it other than the grip shape.
The prince grip shape is a PITA, I wish this racquet had head tk82 pallets on it, bevel 3 and 7 are too small/not wide enough, finding eastern grip in a rush is a pain, and my forehand is suffering, though with enough use I will hopefully adjust.
Can't fault this racquet other than this one gripe so far. Very happy with it.
strung with klip legend mains and tecnifibre pro red code wax at 55lbs and 53lbs.

Nice! yeah you could alter the grip, there are some custom places that could do it if you don;t want a DIY balsa job.

I never break strings anymore with that setup, I just end up getting them cut out when they loose too much tension and I am having to move the strings back into place, or when the ball really starts launching on me. Poly is false economy, and Klip is only $30 a set so $15 for a half set. Best string set up I've used, though some people might find it a little doughey I imagine if they are used to full poly.
I held it over my tec315 16x19 and the central string spacings are the same, so it is really like a 16x19 string pattern.
Problem with the balsa wood idea, although it is brilliant, is that I don't want the grip size changed at all, just the shape. I was thinking maybe my toolmaker mate could mill bevels 3 and 7 down in one of the CNC mills at his work, to make them the same width as tk82. I'll be back to the tec315 18x20 within a week or two anyway no doubt, or I'll rage and smash the princes, so it is all moot.

The grip size wouldn't need to be changed. You could mill the grip down to the correct geometry and then rebuild with balsa (or plastic) to the correct size. Seems like a lot of work. You must really dislike the grip.

Im finding even with non poly strings this frame works better with low tension. With previous rackets (PK mainly) I would not be able to control below about 54lbs but i'm preferring around 50lbs with the 100P and currently enjoying OSGM at 47/45 although that string is a bit stiffer than many non polys and is 1.22. At higher tensions I have trouble generating serve power and experience some arm soreness.

I dislike full poly but at 45lbs the Cyclone 17 feels surprisingly good. Will try a few poly/synth hybrids next time and maybe a full set of Multifeel depending on how long they last....all at low tension. My only regret about this frame is that I didn't buy it much sooner!

Hmm, think the new Phantoms are better. Also liked the yellow Prince Tour lines and the new Prince Beasts. I just don't like the Slime-Green color.

Seriously though string with whatever you like. As far as tension goes the 100P is very low powered and the strings don’t move a lot so you might want to cut the tension back by about 5-10% over a more powerful racquet.
I have just sold all my babolat pure strike 2014 16 x19 98 after playing with them for a year. Absolute fantastic racket took my game from lingering in div 2 to 3 to div 1 at my club league. However i always since using this racket develops pain in my shoulders wrist and my elbow. I have always played with prince rackets before. So I have decided to try the prince textreme 100p which us a racket I had tried before but settled on the babolat. My biggest problem is now I can't hit a forehand. It mostly goes in the net or occasionally long. My forehand was my biggest weapon. However i intend to perservete5as my serve backhand and vollies have never been better and also being pain free is a wonderful feeling. Now the summer season starts in April. My question is how long should it take to get the forehand dialed in? I have had 2 doubles and 2 singles hit with this racket so far.

I’m also having a ton of difficulty with my groundstrokes but I am inclined to think I am playing bad and playing better competition than I am used to rather than blame the racquet. I’m going to get some lessons to get my strokes fixed before I consider blaming the frame any more. But I am having a heck of a time generating spin on my FH.

I wish Prince made the 100P in a 97 or 98 sq. in instead. Although the 100P is an 18x20 pattern, I find that it lacks control. Whereas, the TT95 has great control but lacks power. A happy medium between the TT95 and 100P in a 97-98 sq. in. with an 18x20 string pattern would have been perfect.

I concur wholeheartedly. A Phantom Pro 97P or 98P would be a best seller. The TT100P has too much power for me, the TT95 too low powered, the 93P is a challenge to use, while the PP100 and PP100P are not precision oriented enough.

I demoed both the Beast and the Phantom P last week. The Beast was a nice modern spin machine but I could tell after just a few minutes that I would get hurt with it.
The phantom at first felt plush and solid but as I warmed up I found it to be too flexible and under powered for me. It reminded me of my old More Precision than my old POG. Perhaps adding some weight would help but I’m not in the mood to go down that rabbit hole.
It was nice to realize that the racquet I own is the one I want. But I still would like a little bit more easy spin. I’m going to give the 100T a try and see how that works out.

IMO the Prince TT100P is one of the best racquets out there, for me the frame has a perfect combination of comfort, power and precition. Spin is mainly pruduced by technique, and I think you can get plenty with a 18x20 string pattern.
You can fiddle with strings, I just strung one of my frames with Vokl V-Torgue Tour 19 and going to hit in a few hours. Not a big fan of poly, but looking to find one that does nor hurt my arm.

I concur after trying to many frames including pro stocks. The TT100P is highly underrated, and I enjoy it every time I hit with it. Subjective of course.

Strangely enough, I was trying to convince myself to buy another racquet last night.... reading threads on the Pure Strike 16x19, maybe a V Core Pro 97, and found a lot of mixed opinions. It seems only Angell has universal love, so I have to assume these guys belong to a sect. Then I read through this thread again and decided to take out the TT100P for this morning's match. I added some lead (4gm total at 6 & 9) and I always play with leather grips. WOW. Didn't find any shortcomings.
I've been an advocate of reducing weight and playing with lighter, stiffer sticks while maintaining high RHS, but after shoulder and elbow becoming more sensitive, I've been using more flexible sticks, no pain but missing a little free power.
The TT 100P is just about as close as I can get to my ideal hit.

TT 100P is a great racquet when paired with poly. I only play with full multi, so it's a challenge to use. The closest thing I could find to string it up with was Head FXP Tour which is a multi-poly. Instead of a single extrusion, it's many thin poly fibers wound together like a typical multi.

Got a few sets of FXP and FXP Tour I will try it out. I am not a big fan of Poly, tried Vokl V-Torgue Tour 19 today and it was kind of OK. BUT also tried Technifibre HDX Tour today, and WOW that is an amazing string and a very good combo with the TT100P. Did you try the HDX Tour and how does it compare with the FXP Tour or FXP
I think I could go all in with the HDX Tour and this is just after 2 hours hitting.

its a fantastic racquet @haqq777. If it didn't cause me wrist discomfort, I don't believe I would be with Angell today. I played some of my best tennis for the few months that I used the 100P. Every time I see one one sale I think about giving it another shot. I found the directional control, especially on the FH was one of best I've played. EnjoyGentlemen, got my hands on a gently used TT100P. Played stock, liked it but had to bring to my specs. You will be amazed what a leather grip and 2 grams at 12 can do to this beauty. Really loved it for fast indoor courts where I am hitting these days.

I also got wrist problems when I started playing the TT100P, but it turned out that it was only tempoary. It suddenly disapared out of the blue, not even sure it was the frame or the strings that was the problem. Very happy that I stayed on board.
Perhaps you should give the TT100P a second chance.

I found one for sale on the board and reached out to the TT member seller right after I commented,
. He just sold it this morning. I really do need to try it again. Its interesting because I had a demo for way longer than one should have a demo. I finally ordered a brand new one and it was the brand new one that caused wrist discomfort. The demo was fine. I used the same strings. They were full bed multi's which I don't use. I tried a poly hybrid and it was harsh. I need to try it again.
