The NXG appears to have been a failure in new tennis technology, thus would explain the low price on it. The local tennis shop here are still sellling it full price because I guess some players actually like it and it is still selling.
Definitely demo one before you buy.
Its been a flop. Pretty much most of the rackets that Prince made to "try" to replace the POG had become failures, with the exception of the Chang series and POG II. Though the Chang and POGII have some good reviews and played fairly well, it became discontinued, and yet the POG after over 25 years is still around.
For a racket to be around this long certainly tells you something about it. The POG is still being purchased, enough so that Prince still sees a profit by keeping it in production.
The POG is probably the most sold racket of all time for being in the market for over 25 years.
The Babolat PD maybe a good contender, but still too early to say considering the PD has been around for about five years. Lets see 20 years from now if the PD is still around and Babalot's best selling racket.
