I was wondering how good Pro Supex Blue Gear is and is it as good as Luxilon BB Alu Rough? Also where do I purchase it? If you have any advice please tell me.

From what i heard it is right on up there with all the top strings in terms of spin and durability. im goin to pick up a set myself soon. look on ****. they are tons for sale,and the price is cheapr than luxilon too

I had tried the blue gear a couple of days ago and I really enjoyed and liked it more than the pro hurricane tour. Sorry, never tried the alu rough. I think the user "PED" has and can provide you with his input.

I've used both Blue gear and BB alu rough, and I do prefer the Blue gear. Compared with bb alu rough, blue gear is More comfortable, spin production is solid and the price is really rightright. It seems some of people prefer big ace to blue gear, but I would still give the nod to blue gear. I just find it to be a little more comfortable. One final input is my son, he's used bb alu rough for the last 8 months and i just switched him over to a big ace hybrid and he's not wild about the switch. Hopefully he'll see the light, but I think the alu rough might have a bit more pop and he misses that. I personally feel i get more control with blue gear and I really can't imagine going back to the bb alu, it's a good product but i really prefer the pro supex strings even when not considering cost. I would try both big ace and blue gear and see which one you like. They are both really good strings.
