PSGD playbility related to thickness??

I am really happy with the way PGSD feels as a cross with ALU rough mains in my Dunlop HM 200g. First I tried PSGD 16 black, it felt quite comfortable and had good directional control. Now I am trying PSGD 17 whilte; It feels noticibly more stiff and more powerful. I am going to PSGD 18 next. So to me it seems,

COMFORT, CONTROL: 16 PSGD > 17 PSGD > 18 PSGD
FEEL, SPIN, POWER: 18 PSGD > 17 PSGD > 16 PSGD

So Guys who have used all the three gauges can you please comment on this issue? Also is colored PSGD is softer than non-colored?
Durability is not a problem for me as the ALU rough looses playability after 12/15 hours and I end up cutting the string anyway.

I've used all three in full jobs (16, 17 a while ago, 18 recently). While i liked both 16 and 17 gauge, i didn't really think it was extraordinary. I now use PSGD 18 and WOW, i can't believe this string. It frays like hell, breaks in record times but while it last, it's magic.

I know what you think: this doesn't mean much; my game is probably different then at the time i tried the 16g and 17g. I had a different racket with different tensions too, etc. but i think you'll love the 18g for the few minutes it will last.

For the record, i used PSGD 18g in an AG200 at 63lbs. Just awesome.

For me the thinner gauges do feel crisper. I have used all gauges of PSGD and they are a good overall cheap string. If you practice a lot then a reel of it would be good. Gosen OG Sheep is good too and feels less stiff. The PSGO feels softer without that jarring feeling of Duraflex. Some people here do like the feel of Duraflex but I'm old school and like the Original and best syn gut.
