Pure Aero Tour vs. Pure Aero Rafa Origin

Hi. I currently play with the Pure Aero tour. Does anyone know the differences between the Pure Aero Tour and the Origin?

Will they play very different?

Pure Aero Tour has a strung weight of 335 grams, swing weight of 327, 6 pts. HL and stifness of 68

compared to

Origin: Strung weight of 337 grams, swing weight of 371, 1 pts HL and a stiffness of 70

I am curious but dunno if it makes sense to change...

Yes I am aware of it silly to change rackets often, but I am tempted.

Very different frames.

PAT is stiff with a lower SW. Origin is much heavier swingweight and softer. Most people will have issues playing with the Origin

The origin is going to play very different then the Tour version. The swing weight difference is huge, the origin is basically a sledgehammer. Hard to maintain that level for an entire match without some serious gym time.

Hmm, thanks for the answers. Gives me something to think about.

Though the raquet is sold out all over EU i think...

You seriously think you’re ready to swing 370 sw rackets? I’d say you’re insane. That Origin racket is for .3% of tennis players and one is named Nadal.

Yeah its an awesome frame if you have the spare cash for a "nice to have" racquet. It will not be your matchplay frame unless you are at a rather high level of tennis.

The Pure Aero Tour is still pretty demanding but at least somewhat realistic for rec level play.

I ended up buying the racquet. Was on a business trip and the city had a shop where they had the racquet.

People should calm themselves... Played with it today. Didnt feel stiffer than my Pure Aero Tour. Actually not much difference than it's of course more head heavy.

Played with it for 1 1/2 hours today. Its more demanding, but your arm will not fall of.

When you connect clean with the ball you really feel the power and spin. If you mishit the racquet will let you know. Just like I like it.

This is all exaggerated imo... I know hitting super well with it is a different thing but I demo'd and it didn't feel that heavy... comes thru the serve really well too not extremely difficult at all. The way ppl talked I expected it to feel like holding an actual hammer in my hand lol

Like im only a noob 3.5 ntrp and I feel like I could play with it and make some good shots

An update.

The racquet is actually very good. Very demanding, but very good.

I get the same vibes as I did with the Wilson Pro Staff 90 six.one (which is the best racquet I've ever played with).

So I bought a second Origin :D

Agreed dood but you don't even have to play with the heavy one you can get the 290 and weight it up as needed. Also plays heavier than a 290 stock already good

I find it easier to use than new pure aero 23. Of course I’m not playing for keeps but just felt a lot better.
Felt optimized for lack of a better word.
