Racket for me?

i really need suggestion for a racket that's suited for me, based on my collection, i own
2x Head I. Radical Mp
1x Wilson Pro Staff Classic
1x Head FXP Radical MP
2x Head Composite Edge Graphite mid
1x Wilson Hyper Pro Staff
1x Wilson Sting
1x Head TXE edge

i'm comfortable hitting with all the rackets above

right now i'm mainly playing with the I. radicals, they are good playing rackets but they just don't feel right, i enjoy hitting with Mid size rackets, since when i mishit it doesn't have that jarring feeling as much, and the weight i can't handle anything less then 10.5 oz's, but my arm can't handle too much weight, i'm kinda scrawny, i don't like alot of flex, and i'd like a racket that would help me with my strokes, or well i could just do that myself, i just really need to find my holy grail of rackets,

any suggestions?

could you please tell us what kind of player you are so that we can get a better idea of what type of racquet you are looking for (also, what is your skill level)?

also, do you want us to suggest you a racquet from your collection, or are you looking to buy a new racquet?

i am about a 3.5 player, i have a big 1st serve and i'm in the process of developing my second serve, i put alot of topspin on my forhand since i use a full western grip, i'm stuck between a 2 handed backhand and a one hander, i use my 2 hand to push from the baseline and to put away closer to the net, i use my one hand then i'm on the run, i like weighted rackets, and stiff ones, i'd like suggestions on what racket i should use, not one from my list.

i'm also stuck on what string to use, i never tried natural gut, and since it's winter time i dont think it's a good idea, i'm currently using polyester on one of my i radicals and a poly/synthetic on the other, i like both of them but the full poly can be harsh on my arm on certain days, and i like to feel the ball.

any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I recently bought a 200g 95 and I must say it gives some nice feedback. I would compare it near to the ps85, but a bit more lively.

What is the point for so many racquets, do you play with all of them?

Is it something like having 7 chevys for 7 different days?

well i found most of them at like flea markets and moving sales and other junk like that, i find a fondness for old rackets for some reason, the only ones i bought were the i radicals and the flexpoint, i can play with all those rackets just fine, but they just don't feel like the racket for me

If you are looking for a new racquet you should try the Dunlop 200g, great racquet.

Otherwise just for a collection I have a prince vortex you might like.

I think that you should try out an areopro drive. i think it will fit your style of play. If you find it too light, you can always add lead to the racquet.

I also think that you should look into the O3 HT and the Babolat PDR. Both these racquets are pretty stiff (expecially the babolat) and both of them are 12+ oz racquets.

As for strings, I use a hybrid (poly [big bangers] for the mains and prince softflex for the crosses). I think you really have to just try out different string combos until you find what suits you.

Hope this info helps!

i tried out the original PD and it was quite a handfull on my shoulders, maybe it's just my shoulder rotation but my arm was killing me at the end, and thanks for the suggestion No skillz i'll go demo that racket from TW, are there any other rackets i should try?

Demo the O3 Hybrid tour. Also, try the APD. It is nothing like the PD. The PD gave me arm problems to:-( , but when I used the APD, my elbow felt fine.

the bigger head size of the APD might give me problems, for some reason i have a preferance for smaller head sizes, even though i can play ok with a 100in racket,

By any chance, do you like 90in racquets?

If you do, the wilson n-six one tour 90 is a great choice. It is heavy and very control oriented. Unfortunatley, it is recomended for higher skill levels(4.5+), but you could give it a try.

Though I would still highly recommend demoing the O3 Hybrid tour.

haha i'll give the hybird tour a whirl, i had the federer stick and i liked it very much so, although i dont think i have that level of control yet, but the racket felt great, maybe that's why i want to try out the PS 6.0 85
