A similar thread was started a few years back but I thought it would be fun to say it again. You can start out with your very first tennis racquet and go up to what racquet you use currently.
Here are my "evolution" of racquets:

started out with a el cheapo K-Mart racquet - wood
jack kramer pro - wood
Slezenger aluminum
wilson T-2000
Wilson T-3000
Bancroft bamboo
Wilson Jack Kramer - Pro staff - wood
Jack Kramer autograph - wood
Wilson graphite midsize - can't remember the model
Head graphite oversize - can't remember the model
Wilson hyper hammer

fischer 105 - still use this one
fischer 98 - still use this one
Prince graphite pro 110 - still use this one
Prince graphite Spectrum 110 - still use this one

i forgot a few:
Head Liquidmetal os
Head flexpoint os
Head microgel os
wilson sting

thanks:)

JK Autograph... my first racquet. My first girlfriend threw it at me one day and it cracked

T-2000 ... Replaced the JK Autograph. Absolute crap!!!
Only redeemable feature: It excelled at hitting rocks.

C10 pro .... Bliss

In between ,throw in a few Prince Pros, Wilson Stings, PK Black Aces, Dunlop Revelations, PK 5G's and a can or two of balls.
There ya have it! 35 years of racquets.

For me it started out in 1989 when I was a sophomore in high school:

Pro Kennex Mid (don't remember the model, bought from Target)
Pro Kennex Ceramic something MP (can't remember the name either)
Prince Graphite Comp OS (I think that was the name of it)
Head Team Graphite Mid
Wilson Sting Highbeam MP
Donnay Formula Pro
Donnay Pro One OS Original (Blue/Yellow, original mold different from the LE)
Prince POG OS 4-stripe
Prince CTS Precision OS
Prince CTS Graduate OS
Prince CTS Approach OS
Donnay Ultimate Pro OS
Donnay Pro One LE OS

And that was all through High School in the early early '90s...guess I was quite a racquetaholic back then. For sure it didn't help me improve my game, but I tend to be a gear head when it comes to things I like. Practically all my racquets then were used and then sold as I wasn't a collector in those days.

During my college years I used:

Donnay Pro One LE OS
Head Radical Tour Trysis 260 OS

Then I didn't care about tennis for a long time, but did pick up one racquet in those years:

Head Ti.Radical OS

I picked that one up at Big 5 Sporting Goods because they had a great sale on it. It's too bad I didn't care about Tennis for such a long stretch. As a racquetaholic, I'm sure I missed out on some great frames. Even Big 5 sold the reissued Pro Tour 280, which is still considered a great racquet even though it was made in China.

And these days, er, well, my collection has ballooned up to around 40 racquets. I've slowed a lot lately because I'm realizing how much space tennis racquets can take up.

Currently using the Fischer M Pro 1 98 but not completely satisfied
-recently tried the Kneissl Red Star, Tom's Machine and Black Star-loved the Red but it gave me elbow issues (1st time in a long time)

you are not old - just old of us senior citizens that still love to play tennis.
i started out in 1967 - we only one tennis court in my home town and it was always empty because no one played tennis in those days.
my girlfriend taught me how to play - we both sucked but it was fun to learn.
started playing in collage - bought my first "good" racquet - a JK pro used for $4.00 from my room mate. that was allot of money back in the day.

1st ever racket- Wilson Rakattak (haha, I was like 9)
7th Grade- Wilson US Open (not fully serious about tennis yet)
8th- Head Ti. Radical OS
11th- Head Liquidmetal Radical MP/ Head T. Carbon One 1000 (variation of the Head Ti. Carbon 6000)
12th (2008 )- 3 Head Radical Twin Tube Tour OS
College- 2 more Head Ti. Carbon 6000

I'm currently using the 3 Radical TT Tours and 3 Ti. Carbons back and forth. There's a small fracture in the Ti. Radical and I sold the Liquidmetal- it hurt to part with it, it was a good racket but something about the MP size didn't feel right to my game. I'm good with racket quantity (even though I still keep my eyes open for more of what I use), now want to get more focused on strings and maybe customizing the Ti. Carbons, maybe...

Wow! You must have started late. I'm a few years younger than you, but both my kids were in college by 2004. My kids can play well, but growing up in my house did not endear them to want to play. My daughter was recruited by many schools, but chose not to play. Now that she is out, she regrets it, and wants me to start training her again. Girls.....
