Hey guys,
I currently use a pair of Wilson 5.6 Rollers Hammer http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Reviews/56/56Review.html and think it's about time to transition to a new pair.
For the past month, I've demoed out several racquets.
Wilson
PS 6.1 90 BLX
PS 6.1 95 BLX
Six.One 95 BLX
Six.One Team BLX 16x18 2012
Tour BLX 2012
Head
Prestige
Radical
I really loved the control PS 6.1 90, but my elbow wasn't up to par after playing with the racquet for a week. I'm probably too used to lighter racquets. I also liked the Tour BLX and was getting the power I was used to from my old hammers. But everyone I played commented that the Six.One Team BLX 16x18 2012 worked really well with my top spin and had the similar weight as my old pair. So I added some lead tape on the tip and made it head heavy like the hammers and the power from it was excellent. I intend to purchase the racquet, but want to make sure that it's a good fit. My last buy was over 10 years ago
So anyhow, any and all recommendations on racquets I should try before making a commitment to buy welcomed. I'm a 3.5-4.0, with a 2h backhand, and predominately play from the backcourt. Being only 5'6, I rely heavily on my top spin to keep my power shots from going out.
