Rant thread about combo league and state

Won the other makeup match for USTA and only ended up playing one ALTA match that weekend which I lost (mixed). Did not play well at all. Played a USTA match on Saturday and started playing much better (won in 3 sets). Playoffs start this weekend in 18+ so hoping I continue to play better. How is your first ALTA season going?

Cool, I have yet to play a ALTA mixed match even though I was scheduled to this past Sunday but the team defaulted line 4 & 5. We are currently in 4th place with a 3-1 record. I am suppose to play on a men's team this march. I believe the league is single A II? I am not familiar with the rating system yet. I've been told that its high level tennis.

A-2 is pretty high. Our team should be right around that level. But you never know what you'll get from ALTA. Usually lines 1-3 are strong. Even at high levels you might find the line 4 or 5 not near as strong as the top of the lineup. Should definitely be good tennis though.

Awesome I suspect that it will be really good tennis even if its above my level of play. I think its going to make my game a lot stronger especially when I play my USTA matches.
