I have been wondering for a while and have searched the forum but did not find anything on it...
Does anybody know what Raonic is wearing on his right arm, why he is wearing it (injury?) and what the benefit of wearing it is.
He seems to have different colors as well.
Thanks.

It's called a compression sleeve and it is supposed to give support, promote circulation, cut back on fatigue and increase recovery. He started wearing it when he had an injury and liked the way it felt so he just continued wearing it (according to some match commentary I heard a while back).

I was wearing one when I had forearm problems. They do feel good, but wearing one now looks like wannabe city.

SoCalJay is right - meant to help with all that stuff he mentioned. I was wearing one for a few months during my college days after i had bicep tendonitis. Steve Johnson wore one for a while during his senior year too. It makes the arm feel a little more stable and stronger IMO

How about Tennis arm/Golfers elbow? Would a compression sleeve be helpful there?
And where can I get one?

Yea it might help, but tendonitis usually needs rest to heal - this is if you HAVE to keep playing and just want something to manage the pain. Just google compression sleeve and i imagine nike, adidas, skins, under armour etc will al be selling the same stuff.

If you have tennis arm you need to be treating it with NSAI's and rehab exercises along with as much rest as possible. A week or two and you will notice massive difference

This is wrong. He started wearing it because he had a rash and wanted to cover it up. He liked the way it felt so decided to keep the compression sleeve.

I assume, he is getting sponsorship $$$$ for wearing it....

A lot of athletes wear the sleeves. Marathoners wear them to keep warm at the start of a race, and she'd them. Lots of BBall players wear them

Hard to say if folks think they help more than they help of they actually help. But, there seems to be a proliferation of compression wear out there. compression wear started out as health support.

Can you Wear Elbow brace for tennis elbow on top of this Arm band ?

Fedace, try wearing BG's wrist assist and you'll be hitting forehands like a pro. You'll develop proper form and hence will not have elbow problems so no need for your elbow brace. Plus that feeling you get when striking a forehand with the wrist assist is just orgas**c.
