Big servers always have a chance to win matches against even good players. Djokovic-Karlovic rivalry comes to mind. Hell, karlovic and isner have been Federer and djokovic, respectively on USO series courts in the past too. Toronto’s lively conditions plus Opelka being an actual giant allow him to win a tightly contested bo3 match against a top player every once in awhile.

Tsitsipas isn’t half decent on ROS as medvedev. But against Novak it wouldn’t play that big a role as it did against opelka. But still med is a bigger threat than stef.
