Nadal has said Tsitsipas blatantly cheats on line calls. Did he not say he was glad he didnt play him in juniors? Ouch lol
The Nadal said that someone else cheats?

Tsitsipas took yet another suspicious MTO today, just one more example in an well established pattern of gamesmanship and bad on-court behavior.
Well at least his opponent gets timeout at the same time. So how is it gamesmanship?
If Novak wants to be a Diva, he's earned it since he's won 17 slams and has almost 300 weeks at #1.
LOL. Joe Cavitch took a 10 minute break to win the 2020 Australian open.Tsitsipas took yet another suspicious MTO today, just one more example in an well established pattern of gamesmanship and bad on-court behavior.
Quite remarkable for someone to have an extensive "resume" at only 22. He's worse than Djokovic or Nadal ever were in this regard, yet some posters here who take/took issue with Djokodal doing this (cough @Tennis_Hands, tonylg, etc. cough) are oddly silent. what gives?
Bulls*** Russian incident:
- Regularly (ab)uses tactical MTOs, long bathroom breaks (took a 5+ minute break after losing the 4th at the USO against Coric); stalls by going to his bench to change racquets, shoes, etc.
- Clearly attempts to distract his opponent by tapping his racquet on the court mid rally (video below)
- Verbally abuses his opponents (e.g.: calling Medvedev "bulls*** Russian")
- Receives illegal coaching from his father Apostolos on a regular basis (eg: Coric USO match); that's when Apostolos doesn't directly interfere like he did against Moutet (video below)
- Has anger issues on court (video below)
Tapping the racquet mid-rally against Shapovalov:
Anger issues:
Apostolos interfering in the match
Why does he get a pass from the Gamesmanship Police?
Lol. Fans disagreeDjokovic as a sportsman >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Titspas
Djokovic NEVER cheats. Sure, he may get angry but does NOT do gamesmanship. EVER.
Novak is ALSO the best loser. He hugs and congratulates his opponents.
Most of all, Novak is a GOOD human being with compassion and empathy in LOADS.
Titspas is NONE of these.
Joe Kovich is a grate human bean!Djokovic as a sportsman >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Titspas

Stafanos should perform some apostasy from Apastolas.I like his game style, but yes he is a jerk. IMO he needs to separate from his father. That relationship on both sides appears to be toxic. Dad obviously is frequently upset with his son and is constantly chattering to him during the match. You can see Stefanos getting angry with Apostalos and vice versa. I’m hoping that Tsitsipas will settle down with age. Medvedev is no angel either
If his boob throws are not enough, maybe.Lol. Fans disagree
Novak would sell off one of his children for that ovation.
Why do you lot insist on bringing up Djokovic?
He has nothing to do with how Tsitsipas behaves
LOL. Joe Cavitch took a 10 minute break to win the 2020 Australian open.
Are you serious?Lol. Fans disagree

Exactly. Well done, Sir.Joe Kovich is a grate human bean!
Sportspeople, specially those at the very top of their games, often aren't good role modelsBeing a role model is a responsibility. Novak and the other top dogs influence younger players' behaviour.
Sportspeople, specially those at the very top of their games, often aren't good role models
That sounds about right. Those with the best behaviour often lack killer instinct. Imagine Dimitrov with Novak's instincts. Or Berdych - holy cow, he would have been a monster!
Imagine Fedr
Fedr has pretty good instincts. He has issues against Djokovic - too many traumas and a very difficult match-up for his game.
But Djokovic certainly has a rare winner's instinct.
Djokovic certainly has a rare winner's instinct.
And in the minds of his fans, a free pass to behave as badly as he likes.
I don’t think this goes unnoticed at all. Does the guy have any fans here?

I am a fan. Have been ever since AO 2019. He's got so much potential and is capable of playing amazing all-court tennis at a high level. Will not condone his trashy gamesmanship though. I really don't care much for the "bullsheet Russian" thing. Medvedev is a drama queen himself. But the racquet tapping against Shapo was downright disgusting and he is rightfully called out on that. But he is quite young and he will mature as a person. He already is maturing, I believe. And look at Rafa, Novak and Federer when they were young. Federer was a foul mouthed teenager with temper issues. Nadal was known for his perfectly timed fake MTOs whenever his opponent is on a roll. Djokovic had MTO issues as well and came across as arrogant. With experience they all matured. So will Tsitsipas, I hope and believe. He might not be the most socially comfortable among his peers. He is quirky, awkward and somewhat socially clumsy. But he's a fine lad and will be a GS champion in due time.I don’t think this goes unnoticed at all. Does the guy have any fans here?

Talking about Djokovics killer instinct, this guy is coming from somewhere totally different than probably all other players. He got waked up in his childhood from bombs destroying his city and an ongoing war... it either destroys you or like in his case makes you totally unsensitive to minor stress factors like a 15-40 in a GS final.. you see things in a different perspective.
Anger can be a powerful motivatorThat is interesting. Why is he not insensitive towards minor issues like being outplayed, so that he doesn't succumb to anger rages?
Example from O2, apples to applesAre you serious?
Novak has gotten 100x LOUDER ovation a THOUSAND times.
You are talking about a 17 slam champion, 36 master titles champion.
He is revered around the world. And worshipped.
Novak's popularity and admiration >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tsitsipas's low popularity.
Anger can be a powerful motivator
And no, this does not mean I condone hitting officials with balls in anger
Berdych, well-behaved? His behavior was very bad, no? Very bad! That sounds about right. Those with the best behaviour often lack killer instinct. Imagine Dimitrov with Novak's instincts. Or Berdych - holy cow, he would have been a monster!
Berdych refused to shake Almagro's hand. That sounds about right. Those with the best behaviour often lack killer instinct. Imagine Dimitrov with Novak's instincts. Or Berdych - holy cow, he would have been a monster!
It's advantageous for him to get angryI don't know why you wrote the above: it certainly doesn't answer what I asked.
Berdych, well-behaved? His behavior was very bad, no? Very bad!
Berdych refused to shake Almagro's hand.
Oops, my mistake LOL.I was talking about Novak's killer instincts in Berdych's talent. Wasn't thinking about behaviour..
I understand broken english got in the way, since two outstanding posters have arrested me @King No1e @mike danny
Hum.. Steaks.....Stefano just turned 22, hardly a huge body of crime evidence to burn him at the stakes, folks...
Tbh most athletes use gamesmanship. This could range from trash talking to flopping to medical timeouts.I don't give him a pass. He's turned into (or exposed himself as) a total jerk. Used to be one of my favorite players.
You didn't even mention the shoe business.
That tapping against Shapo is egregiously bad and Shapo even called him out. I liked when Rosol did it against Rafa, because Rafa f***s with everyone. But this was unprovoked, Shapo isn't that kind of guy.
He's worse than Djokovic or Nadal ever were in this regard
Djokovic is selling his own mama to get to this 20 titles... even though in the after press conference he is trying to convince all with his spiritual pseudo psychology
