I've had a bad feeling about him and his health since he didn't make USOpen.

Hope he's well soon. Or at least can have the energy to play again. He's probably got no stamina at this point in the illness. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Nothing is worse that when you have absolutely zero energy to do anything.

I didn't know he had been diagnosed with mono. Knew he hadn't been feeling well on top of his various injuries but hadn't heard about mono. Too bad. He started out the year so well.

Yep, he certainly did. And that was the last we've seen of him this year! At least he went out on a high!

Can't see him recovering enough to do much now. I can't see him defending Paris or making the WTF. The rest of 2011 is now a write-off for him. He should set his sights on getting back into shape for the 2012 season. Fingers crossed he will!

It's been confirmed that Robin Söderling has pulled out of the Paris Masters due to ongoing problems with mononucleosis.

Soderling was a beast in 09.10 and the beggining of 11. I hope he recovers....you need someone who has balls to stand up to Nadal and Federer. Novak isn't an ass*&**, so he doesn't count.
