Sadly, Zverev will never win a GS

Zverev is 0-10 against top 10 players right now. 0-10 and he is top player since 2017. He already beat Fedalovic to win Master 1000 and the WTF, but in GS, he is still not able to beat the best.

2-1 against a not yet reborn Nadal at the AO 2017
2-0 against a mediocre Thiem at the USO 2020, served for the match and finally lost the match
1-0 against Djokovic at the AO 2021, has leads on both third and fourth set only to lose
Today, come back from 0-2 to Tsitsipas, had 0-40 on his first service game only to lose 6-3

I don't see it for Zverev unfortunately. His FH is too weak to dominate (he was totally unable to finish a point with his FH to save his life) and he isn't mentally strong to clutch wins against the tough players.

Unless the draw collapse totally like a WTA GS (this FO for exemple), he will never win a GS IMO. He is a combination of Ferrer-Berdych gatekeeper. Always making QF-SF by beating players he should beat but too short to win it all.

It's funny, actually winning a slam has nearly as much to do with the level of competition as your individual level during the tournament.

Zverev will almost certainly win a slam as Nadal/Djokovic decline further, not because he is an amazing player, because the level he has to beat is lower.

Thing is, only showing up vs big3 isn't enough. Plus, he chokes away so much vs Nole.

I think he will win 2-3. At least one tournament will have a perfect draw for him and I think he’s one of the few guys who will inherit a complete Mickey Mouse ATP once Nadal and Djokovic are done.

Michael Chang for those that don't know is a Hall of Famer who won his one and only Slam at 17. He proceeded to make 3 additional Finals but what is believed to have gotten him recognition was his 7 Masters haul. Now I'm not saying Zverev only wins 1 Slam (maybe he won't win any) but he already...
