Serve call correction question.

I hit a first serve, returner's partner calls it out, returner hits the ball back in the court, and walks up to the line to check the mark (clay court) and corrects the call saying my serve was good.

My point, or replay the point?

Your point. Although in a friendly social match I've seen folks who will give the server another first serve.
Correct. Just like on the Pro Tour...you stop the point to call an opponent's ball out. If you're wrong, you lose the point, regardless of whether your shot went in.

I think people get confused from watching TV when a linesperson calls the ball 'out', it is corrected, and they replay the point. That is different as its an official making a call, not a player.

on mistaken serve calls, i always give it to my opponent (regardless if i or my partner return the ball).

You, sir pirate, are carrying charity to an extreme. :) I do hope your opponents offered to buy post match libations.

It definitely rattled me a little because in my mind I was like this match is already over, but I'm still playing.

It was match point and I didn't want to end like that, so I played two. Needless to say I double faulted.

I had a similar situation in my consolation match in mixed doubles. Hit my first serve in, receiver's partner raises his finger signalling out, receiver plays the ball but I stop because I see the receiver's finger up. They both claim the point because the serve was good. I stated that I didn't play the return because the receiver's partner put his finger up indicating a fault. They agree not to take the point (lol) but replay the point. I promptly DF.

I knew it was my point to take, but I decided that the interactions with this pair had been borderline contentious all match, that I wouldn't raise a stink. You'd think since they were higher level players used to tennis tournaments they would know the rules better.
