Should HEAD racquets be just like Adidas Soccer?

That is, HEAD has like 5 different racquet lines (Speed, Radical, Prestige, Extreme, Instinct). Do we really need one racquet that specializes in spin, another in control, one with power, one with accuracy, and another with speed? I get that it's all part of their marketing, but we only need 3 lines at most.

I propose that Head has 3 racquet lines, and not 5: One for the modern player looking for spin and control (Speed + Radical); another for power and spin (Extreme + Instinct); and one for the traditional player (Prestige).

Adidas soccer did the unthinkable in 2015 for their soccer line by narrowing down their main boot silo from 4 models to 2 models (The Messi 15.1-17.1 shoes don't really count).

The spin + control line should be called Storm, and can play like a true modern player's racquet (like a Wilson Blade fused with the XT Speed Pro and the Graphene Radical Pro, with some Yonex Ezone Ai 98). The power + spin racquet could play like a Pure Drive and an Extreme Pro with the ability of the Stan racquet, and call that "Burst".

I'm editing this later to discuss colors/design, head size and string pattern.

They'd better forfeit all lines and reverse to the old and one Prestige ;-)

Their most successful racquet is Nole's PT113B - a Radical. The number of Slams won by that racquet > all Prestige Slams combined.

And AA used a Radical too.

I agree with the OP. In addition, they should also reduce the ridiculous amount of racquets within each line. For prestiges, Pro, MP and MID. That would be enough. What's the point of a Junior Prestige or Prestige S.... Really just using the name for sales, as previous poster mentionned ;)

I'm afraid that's not a correct statement, as the usual suspects who specialize in these sticks (VSB, DR325i) will point out in due time ;)

At least they are siblings, while Extreme is not from the same pack. ;)

I just think they need a classic line if racquets where customers could have access to the proper pro stock type frames and then sell whatever they want on top of that.

Head defiantly have to many lines of racquets and to many of sub models in each line. Where some of these racquets specs merge across into different lines. Now I know TTs and racquetaholics can identified with all these variances but the average rec player coming into shop for a racquet is literally dumbstruck with the amount of just Head racquets to choose from. This confusion sometime force customers to just go for the much simpler Babolat range.
Regards Head line up, thought was that the Instinct and Extreme lines were to be merged into new line with new name. But Instinct Touches have been released, still having a female following, thanks to Maria, she will be back soon.
So suspect Extreme will be dropped, no Touches. But is being replaced with new line featuring a "power bridge" "crossbow" type throat. Head going back to there sack full of techno gimmicks. So 5 lines will remain.

Don't get the point.
All you can do is use your consumer buying power ($$$) and educate others.
If you want to stand tall, don't feed the monster. Support the smaller underdogs!
For reference, just look at the different lines and dup models of some of the big car companies! Nuts..Why..cause you buy...
Do I think it is stupid, hell ya.
They are slowly shooting themselves in the foot.
It took awhile for GM to Jenny Craig ...they still could lose some..
Take a peek at Wilson and Babolat premium lines, pretty fat also..
Sub-premium retail (adult,jr.,tot..) lines and models are also gone wild.

Come to think about it, I might have to go back to my customize Sponge Bob Stick!
