Should Roger change his shirt?

Federer is in his worst funk of his career since becoming number one over 3 years ago. 4 straight losses in 4 consecutive tournaments only reaching 1 final. Two back to back losses to Canas in Indian Wells & Miami, One loss to Nadal in Monte Carlo and one loss to Volandri in Rome. Athletes are very superstitious people in general. Why is Roger wearing the same cursed shirt? Is he obligated to wear this shirt under contract by Nike? Why doesn't he just change the color? He struggled against Monaco today winning 6-4 in the 3rd set. At least he changed his bandanna from the black one he has been wearing to the white one that has helped him win 47 titles, including 10 slams. Should Roger ditch this shirt?

It is obvious he is invincible when wearing a blue shirt of any shade (powder blue at the AO, Indigo at the USO). Yes, he needs only to wear a blue shirt and he will dominate once again. He plays much more ferociously when wearing blue, it is a statistical factoid that cannot be ignored. Roger, are you listening? Wear a blue shirt on the red dirt at RG and you will triumph!

Blue shirt and red clay may not mix, but at least not that fugly red shirt. Maybe something lighter colored, e.g. white with patterns. It can help him change his mood and play well. It is superstitious but we all know colors affect our mind.

I think the problem lies with the colour of his socks. The darker the colour the more he perspirates which results in less traction especially on clay.

That defeat was a fluke and should be scratched from the books. Roger never loses when wearing blue.
