SPPP & Syn Gut - Soft enough for my arm?

I had BPHT 16 (57lbs) & Xcel 17 (59lbs) in my M-Fil 300 and had no arm issues with it but the Xcel did not last at all.

So I tried a comfortable poly, Pro Line 2 1.3mm (55/57lbs) but i can really feel it in my wrist and elbow.

Therefore I'm looking for a more durable hybrid so I was thinking SPPP 1.23mm at 55lbs and either Forten Sweet 16, Gosen OG Sheep Micro 16 or Babolat N.vy 16 at 58lbs in the crosses.

I see that syn gut is stiffer than Xcel so do you think it will be soft enough not to cause me wrist and elbow issues?

I have a very sensitive wrist and I use Mamba O-power mains (people say its like a more comfy and powerful SPPP) with Pro Supex Spiralflex crosses. It's very easy on me. So I think you should be fine. As others have said, try dropping tension a few lbs.

I know the Mfil300 calls for a higher tension, but I'm leery of stringing any poly over 54.
Try 53/57. The 16g syngut should give you the stiffness you need.
Gosen is firmer than Forten.

Thanks for the replies, looks positive that it will be fine on my arm. I used to play with a full bed of syn gut 10+ years ago. Only just got back into tennis.

I use SPPP 1.28 with Forten or Gamma very often.
Very durable, playable MOR combo.
For the 1.23, I would choose the Sheep17.

Check out the Pro's Pro Plus Power.
Veery close.
