String List: Best Hybrid

Ok, I've been researching some new strings to put on the racquet I am getting for X-mas, and have finally made a list. I am going with a hybrid set-up, Poly's in the mains, Synthetic gut in the crosses. The strings are ranked by what I want to try the most. If you could add some strings (synthetic guts especially but also polys) or change the rankings of my list, that would be much appreciated. also if you could compare any of the strings that would be great too.
Poly's
1. Topspin Cyber Flash 17
2. Signum Pro Poly Plasma 16L
3. Gosen Polylon SP 16
4. Luxilon BB ALU Power 16L
5. Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour 16
6. Luxilon BB ALu Power Rough 16L
7. Luxilon BB Alu Ace 18
Synthetic Gut's
1.Gosen OG Sheep Micro Super 16
2. Prince Synthetic gut w/ Duraflex

I really need your guys help, and contributions would be appreciated. thanks

Why don't you try Prince Original Synthetic gut? Even if it has a little less durability, it's usually the mains that break. My list doesn't have Gosen Polylon SP so high. Also maybe the HEXtreme version of SPPP if I like the original. I'd also want to try Ashaway Monogut (synthetic gut monofilament) from the reviews I've heard.

Im using a hybrid of SPPP 17L mains and Klip Legen Crosses, and I have to say Its very nice. Although the Klip gut is somewhat livlier than Im used to , I get great spin and ample power. I string at 56/58 and I Might string it a tad tighter for more control.

For X-Mas I kind of want to try Kirshbaum Super Smash Spiky. Seems like a good string and very spin-friendly. I think you should try it ( this is based on a couple reveiws) Also, I bought a reel of poly polar and a full job of Poly Polar is great.

i just tried the supex ace 17 and it has gone straight to the top of my poly list.

lots of pop and really soft for a poly.

move over cyber flash....you've been great to me, but there's another top poly in my book.

that's my $.02.

Poly: Kirschbaum Supersmash Honey 16:
durable, spin friendly, good tension holding.
also consider the Luxilon BB Ace. Don't string it too low or high though. Too low=trampoline effect, too bouncy, too high=too stiff-arm problems.

Synthetic:
Gosen OGSheep Micro:
v. cheap in comparison w/other syn. strings, and good performance.
also consider the Klip Scorcher. V.good performance but pricier than the Sheep micro.

I use tecnifibre polyspin for my hybrid setups (only in the crosses) with prince or gamma synthetic gut in the mains. The polyspin dosnt seem to be very well liked on these boards but it plays great for me, the best poly i have ever used. Tension maintenance and feel are great its just durability thats the problem, the setup only last 2-3 hrs in my n90's. Dosnt really matter though as i string for myself and the price is cheap.

what is the reason to put poly in the X's? power (poly) with the play of syn gut(mains)?

I think you have a pretty good list. I have never tried Cyber Flash, but several members appear to like it. Most of the people that I string for that use polys, either use Lux ALU Power or SPPP. I would start with the Lux, it is the most popular and easiest to compare what you liked or didn't like.

For the cross, you can use either. I use the Gosen in a cross with BDE Preformance, but either will be fine. Good Luck!

I put the string that gives most feel in the maines which is the syn gut, the polyspin just feels better to me on the crosses. This setup gives me no string movement and better feel and spin than if i had poly in the mains.
