String Recommendation for Pure Strike VS

Have head tennis elbow for about 4.5 years now and need soft string or string setup help. Used a rpm blast/xcel hybrid for a while in a Head GTSP then switched to PS VS to go more control oriented. Have tried full bed rpm blast 17 but that went dead fast and began hurting my arm shortly after, full bed xcel 17 but that broke right around 3 hours or less depending on how much spin I was hitting with. Tried full beds of solinco hyperg 16 which went dead after 6 hours and broke around 6.5 but experienced some arm pain toward the end of that time and 17 which held tension and broke right around 6.5 as well. Tried luxilon element 17 and broke right at the end of 3 hours but liked the softness and 16 which is still playing well around the 7 hour mark. Is there a softer combo for me to try or hybrid of some sort that will be easier on the wallet than element? All strings strung at 51 pounds

Kirschbaum is pretty wallet friendly: try any of the Pro Line strings
Volkl Cyclone Tour: soft, might be too powerful for your liking

When I read your post though, I got the impress of ‘I tried a bunch of strings with this frame and none of them work. I need a new string...’

Seems like you aren't getting the durability you want out of soft strings. Try adding some weight in the handle to absorb impact shock and use a softer poly like Revolve at a lower tension.

Imo the Strike VS is a bit light to use with full poly.

You could also try using Velocity as your multi. It has a good coating and is pretty low powered and soft for multi

My bouts with TE were resolved using hard massage, wrist curl and reverse curls, and using a POG 107. I swear the POG 107 is a therapy racket. Yeah, you won't get the satisfaction that a 95" 18x20 gives you but the POG 107 will allow you to play through your TE.

please forgive me for my lack of understanding but how does wright to the handle allow for shock absorption?

for the most part I understand why you see it as that, but I chose the racket after testing multiple control rackets and my sister has used the same racket after having similar TE pain as me for 3 years now. I did try it before fully making the switch. As for none of them working, some did like lux element 17 and babolat xcel 17 but both broke a bit too quickly, however I do understand when looking towards softer strings you generally lose durability

Any time you add weight you add more mass which can absorb more vibration. Adding it in the handle adds weight to absorb vibrations, but it won't increase swing weight much, if at all. This means you dont have to adjust your game too much.

I recommend you research recoil weight for more info.
