String similar to the Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour

I'm wanting to string up my Babolat Aeropro Drive with the Pro Hurricane Tour, but I don't want to use polyester since they die out the quickest. So I want to use a string similar to it that's a synthetic gut so I can just raise up the tension.

Does anybody know a synthetic gut string that is similar to the Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour string? Thanksya.

well PHT is a stiff poly and most syn guts arent stiffer then pht. but i would say maybe try psgd because that prety stiff for a syn gut.raise the tenison to. that would make it stiffer.

huh? stiffness ratings as well as my own personal experience would say you're wrong..it's not that stiff at all. yeah, there's poly's softer out there, but compared to certain strings, like BBO or ALU Power (and especially to first gen polys) it's pretty soft.

I second the PSGD, because it is very stiff for a synthetic, and does play somewhat close to PHT at higher tensions. but this is apples and oranges

Yeah, you'll have to string it up pretty tight to achieve similar characteristics.

I would say try Blue Gear, its just as good as Hurricane Tour but its a poly, and I know you wanna synthetic gut. Prince Topspin generates alot of spin but I dont think it is as spinny as the Hurricane Tour nor is it as durable.

i used PHT for 7 1/2 months. i thought it was stiff. alot of people think its stiff. my stringer kids who play at my club. but maybe i just strung it to tight (61 on APDC) :lol:

I tried Cyber Blue, wasn't good.

Ierno , most polys I try aren't that good. PHT for me is good. I have a set of Cyber blue sitting around i'll try.

I had PHT on my Pure Dives at 64lbs . Thinking back ... maybe that was the cause of my Tennis Elbow !! oops !!
