string tension vs racquet tension

hey guys,
so i was just browesing around online, and i saw that some strings can be put at tensions higher then the recommended tension for most frames. i was wondering what should be followed closer the racquet stringing tension range, or the recommended string tension range...
and if someone has tried stringing above the racquet recommeneded range, did they see any negative effects of it on their frames...
thankx

Most of the racket can actually be strung higher on the recommendation tension but the drawback is if foresome reason the racket goes banana warranty will be void. So the best thing is if you have an older racket of the same one as new one that is still under warranty you can test it from that. Atleast it does not hurt that much if something goes wrong than the new one you have. Actually you will have 2 new ones in the future;-)

If you use a discontinued, hard to get, model of raquet and you care about it (them), I'd say avoid the really high tensions, in order to keep it (them) 'healthy' as long as possible. If not, just go for it!

I had to take an NXG mp 4 lbs above the max to get it to behave-those ranges are only approximations, but don't go above the max until you've tried it and you know you need to exceed it.

As far as that racquet goes, a girl I coached needed hers restrung about every week and a half and even at or above the max, she didn't like the minimal control over its pow-pow-power. You may want a hybrid in that frame to take some of the nitrous out of it.
