My Wilson Hyper Pro-Staff 6.1 is getting a little old but it has been a great and trusty racket. As they don't make it anymore and I don't really want to buy a used one, is anyone familiar with a racket that plays similarly and has the same specs (and doesn't cost too much)? Thanks.

nSix-One 95 perhaps. What is it that you particularly like about the HPS 6.1? The crisp feel? The manuverablility? Do you serve well with it?

I can get some nice spin and kick on the serve and the power level is perfect for me; I can take a full-out swing on the ball and keep it just inside the baseline. The manuverability wasn't its best feature for me; it's mostly the control and balance of the racket that I really like.

email me @bpoulakis@ikon.com. I will hook you up with a place that still carries them regularly. Usually for $99.00 plus shipping. I bought two last year and have since sold them, but they were authentic and delivery time was less than a week.

You might want to try the N6195 with the 18x20 string pattern. Not quite as crisp as the HPS61 but still a great control frame. The N6195 is also a lot better for your arm then the very stiff HPS61.

Davman, what happened? Did you find any HPS 6.1's? I just checked with the outlet that I bought them from in the past, in Canada and he still is stocking them $99.00 ea.

Used to play the HPS, now using the 6-1 95 16x18. They dont play exactly the same, for me it was a good thing, but demo before for sure.
