Some of the women in Saudi Arabia and Syria could do with some of the money that the top women tennis players earn. Maybe they could donate some to their sisters. A lot of people who complain about the west seem to ignore the plight of people in other systems for political reasons. The household income share of China's GDP is among the lowest ever recorded and now your hero Xi and his henchmen are trying to boost domestic demand while grappling with an aging and declining population and painful years ahead of growth-sapping debt (re-re-)adjustment. Good luck with that when they're not willing to budge on the one thing that would help (take a wild guess what it is).

And say what you will about the US but I guarantee you there are zillions of Chinese people who would love to sign up for our federal Social Security and Medicare over China's localized system that's now facing a nationwide debt squeeze as municipal government coffers run dry.
