The performance vs ball feel conundrum

I'll add my 2 cents:

When it comes to racquets, performance is more important than feel. When it comes to strings, feel is more important than performance.

This is because, to me, the strings play a much bigger part in the overall feel of the set-up than the racquet does.

i see the importance of string, so i like multi, no $$$ for anything expensive like Gut.

But i don't totally agree that a stringjob can shield the feel of the racket. It can however makes your best racket feel like Junk !

Back to the OP, i (and i believe most of lay men) can always find a game improvement racket that give better results than the "Prestige" racket we keep playing. And yes, many of the improvement don't feel as sweet as the heavy small-head racket, as long as you can find the tiny spot there ...

So, since i don't play tournament, i can choose or change rackets anytime. Seek help when the opponents have too much spin, or tricky shot from the big head improvement stick. And use the "prestigeous" stick when the balls come in slow and easy to handle.

Hello! Can you send me info on the Gen I's? I've comminicated with you before about these but it never seemed sure you were switching. I may be interested in at least one. I recently bought one and will be playing with it for the first time tomorrow.

Any info--price, condition, etc.--would be appreciated. Thanks, and good luck with the DNX 9!
