And they are awesome. They are way better than breathe 2 for me, because there is no #tongue# problem and they are very narrrow at the toe area which was the bigest problem with breathe 2. I also got a few things from their clothes line.

How ugly they are. Saw them yesterday. My God!! They even have shining sides!! Tennis should implement the NBA's Dress Code..particurally to Nike and Fila! Who is wearing this shoes...Allen Iverson? Federer? They don't have any resemblance to a tennis shoe. STAY WITH ADIDAS!!!

I really didn't like that styling of the old BF2s, but the new BF3s are possibly even worse. I guess I am too old school.

Did you order both the shoes and clothes from TW? I notice that TW still doesn't have the new Nike clothes up on the Nike page yet.

They are very comfortable, and doesnt feel heavy at all. All of the items are from europe internet page (holland). They also have green bandana. Today I put it on (breathe 3) right out of the box and played a hole tournament of 5 matches and they performed fantasticlly.


In a few days time I will also get the new vapor 3 so I will report as soon as possible.

Nike hasn't made a decent shoe since the original Oscillate. It's plain to see why so many people go with Adidas when it comes to shoes. Even if the ONLY Adidas shoe offered was the Barricade, they would still have made the best shoe in the last 5+ yrs, IMO.

they are navy or as we used to say obsidian with a very small area with university blue (under the knee area). Green bandana is part of the tennis line. There will be a green version of that model but the main color will also be white.(green instead of blue)

On the contrary, the Nike Breathe Free II was/is an excellent shoe. The new cosmetics are going to take getting used to, but it looks like the design changes for the BFIII are only going to make it better (performance wise).

Adidas does make good shoes, and my favorite all-time tennis shoe before I ran across the Nike BFII was the Adidas Edberg from around '87 or '88 - all other tennis shoes that I had used between then and last year were just average until I started using the BFII. The Barricade line has performed well for a lot of people, but no single shoe is the best for every single person on this planet. For me, the Barricade II didn't fit my arch correctly and it took awhile to break-in. On the other hand, the Nike BFII fit like a glove right out of the box, required no break-in, and performed well right up until I replaced them under the durability warranty. The best shoe on the market is the one that fits your foot and gives you the performance you need - which may mean a Nike for one person, or Adidas, New Balance, Reebok, etc... for the next.

The BFIII's look about as hideous as could possibly be imagined. Did someone obsessed with "Lords of Dogtown" design them?? For $100+ give me something sweet like the ultra-modern look of the charcoal/orange Barricade IV's.

If you look closely at this image of the shoe...

...you will likely be able to see faint lines, which are a modified version of the spider web look.

It is not so noticeable at first, as one this color design the base color, and the web design, are the same color.

I cannot recall where, but online I saw a different color wave of the shoe, and the difference in the base color makes the web design a bit more pronounced.

I'm a nike fan, and I'm honestly not really "feeling" these new BF3's. I really like these Nike Animo shoes (which I saw on another website). It appears these shoes aren't one of the high-end models either. They really remind me of a pair of Air Jordans from the late 90s. I like the white Zoom Vapors as well.

Just tried the Vapor Speed 3's today at a local store.....they look freakin 'awesome in person, and are a definite improvement in pretty much every area over previous Vapors. More similar to the Vapor S2's than the last Vapor Speed. Also, could accomodate my wider forefoot, which the last Vapor Speeds could not. Outsoles look more durable too, although, clearly not a 6-month shoe....match-day only, ideally. Wondering if the blue ones will come out in the US?...
