I think that's it. His BH limits his movement options severely. Also depends on your definition of elite. He's not peak Djo/Nads/Alc special obviously he's the tier below imo.
Definition of elite is tricky, but he wouldn't make my top 10 of the last 20 years, and I might be being generous there.

Is it just me but it looks just fine except for the obvious power difference due to the racquets?

For a verrrry rough picture of how they would play in modern conditions we can look at their senior tour matches (yes, it's an exhibition), and I think they look reeeeeally good and move reeeeally well. (maybe it's just me)
I wouldn‘t quite compare it to today‘s movement but I have to say I was quite positively surprised. When I‘ve watched those videos in the past I always focused on the strokes and shots, which obviously aren‘t comparable due to the rackets they had and yet it‘s really impressive. I tried a wooden racket once and it really is crazy difficult in comparison.
But yeah, the movement doesn‘t look bad at all.

He competes in the beanpole height class though, he's pretty good for being such a large basterd

The tech available at the time had an impact on what players did. It did not allow for the kind of very fast precision shots you see today (one reason why you could still S&V back then, now you would just get passed). You'll notice (more so if you watch the full match) how many of the balls are returned to the "middle" relative to the DTL shots we may see today. With less control over the ball and less precision, fewer players are hitting hard and aiming for the corners. That also means players are not having to go after the kind of balls that Novak does when he reaches out and stretches.

For me De Minaur is really right up there. It‘s also impressive, how he can maintain his kind of explosive acceleration and change of direction on the grass.

Medvedev and Alcaraz are also in the category of people who manage to get to balls, where you thought the point was over already. I think that‘s something which should be rated really high when it comes to movement.

I would actually put Zverev in there..maybe. I think he‘s also really fast and good in defense and can pull off some really tough shots at the end of his range.

Fokina makes my top 5 btw.

Djokovic
Alcaraz
Rune
Baez
Fokina
De Miñaur
Paul
Nishioka
Medvedev
Zverev pre-ankle issues… I’d replace him with maybe Musetti now as he has a degree of smoothness and forward movement that is sorely lacking in the rest of the tour.
