Thanks for reply - Yes the stylish velvety Matte Black for Wilson PS97 v13. Good point.Matte Black looks velvety, right? I do not think you can find a replacement paint for that look. Best you could do is use a black/grayish flat non glossy model paint combo. Or just use a sharpie. That velvety look is impossible to duplicate unless you have an air sprayer, which in this case, is an overkill.
Good idea on nail polish as it will protect the scratch part but will the nail polish looks shiny/glossy? Perhaps I need to go find matching matte black nail polish-simple/easy "NAIL POLISH"
-dries quick, dries hard!!
How bad are your scratches? A sharpie works tooHi,
My new Wilson Pro Staff 97 v13 slipped out of my hand and had a few scratches but lucky no crack.
Have anyone tried to touch up the Matte Black paint? Any tip on where to buy the paint and how to touch up is appreciated!
I just asked Da GF about matte black nail polish. She says I AM CRAZY. I have never seen black matte nail polish. Seen a lot of glossy black.
I know what you mean. I use an ADV dry overgrip and Tourna GripRx hand gel. It works great. Thanks all again for your replies, learned a few tips. Below is Wilson reply :>
"I'm sorry we do not have any touch up paint for sale directly from ourselves. I suggest to use car touch up paint for this. "
I also learned a lesson that the tip of "throwing your racket during serve" is a bad idea! A good tacky over-grip is critical! Cheers!
