Just wanted to put it out here. He doesn't have a losing record vs either of them.

What it tell?

You don't need to do this. Everyone except some desperate human cases is acknowledging Djokovic is the GOAT and is playing incredible tennis.

Nothing much really. If I recall, Tsitsipas had a 2-1 lead on Novak at the beginning. Look where it stands now lol. It just tells us that he didn’t play them enough times and over time it would have gotten pretty lopsided

True. Fedr would have caught up to him...it's known. Nadal still has a chance tho

Cherry-picking a tiny sample sized H2H that excludes facing Nadal at RG & Fed at W. Moreover, Fed being 17 years his senior and Nadal’s stamina issues at AO 21 when he lead 2 sets to love and botched easy OH’s make it even less meaningful. I actually like Stefanos but he couldn’t convert match pts. in Barca ‘21 when Nadal’s foot was f’ed lol.

Djokovic is a tough match-up for Tsitsipas, he keeps pressuring him by pummeling his BH, with the returns and the ability to redirect the ball with ease and thus stretching him to the FH side.

If you want a counter example, compare Novak's rivalry (in Slams, since the focus is here on the biggest tournaments) with Stan and Wawa's struggles with Roger. It's a match-up thing.

So you're saying that bringing up slam H2H is cherry picking. OK. :D :alien:
Slam head to head is relevant when there are many matches, not when it is 1-1. Just because someone got a fluke win, it doesn't make him a strong opponent for a slam final.

Tells us the OP likes cherry-picking.

It's literally the same tournament where their meetings happened for all 3. How is that cherry picking, and Djokovic played tsitsipas in a slam, not in a masters event. So slam meetings is the most relevant here to showcase my point.

This proves Tpas was a strong opponent in the final. Therefore rendering AO 2023 a non Weak-Era slam.

As a Freddy fan, this only makes me smile. With all these non ATG level opponents. AKA mugs, are given some juice to pump them up.

Bagy vs Fred in AO '06 is still the pinnacle of the Weak-Era. I don't see how Tpas' level was any better than the first 2 sets Baghy played @. Gonzo in '07 would be an even better comparison as the forehand to backhand lopsidedness was a more extreme version of Tpas' game + the scorelines were similar.

If Freddy's 2006-07 AO's were Weak-Era stuff back then. So is this AO. You guys cannot have it both ways. Take a pick. Choose your poison.

So your take is that because this is the same tournament, it means that Tsitsipas played at the same level in all 4 H2H matches against Big 3?
