TW Fantasy Tennis - Match 4 - Indian Wells

Hello all and welcome to the 4th match of our TW Fantasy Tennis Season! This match will involve only the Indian Wells Masters Series event.

To review - each player is to choose 5 players - one player ranked 1-20, one ranked 21-40, one 41-60, 1 61-80, and one 81-100+. Please refer to the official ATP rankings as of this week (Week of Feb 27) when selecting your players.

It was really hard to make picks here. Since the entry list is only 96 players and we will be picking 50 of them, I don't think there will be enough bottom feeders for everyone? Perhaps it should be changed to top 15, top 30 and then 30 -50, 50-70, and 70+ for IW/Miami?

Just my opinion, but I am not sure how significant any player, let's say from 40 on, is to our scoring. For players at that ranking and lower, winning will be based on match ups mostly and thus luck of the draw.

In the masters and majors early drafts rule the day. That's why jbf has designed the drafting order to move around i believe.

i am last in this round and had some players in mind to pick, but they are quickly disappearing as selections are made. Oh well. I picked early for match 3 and i am still loosing...

I'll take this into consideration for future MS events. It's obviously too late to make this change now, but I'll see how things play out for IW before officially changing for Miami.

If you want to be in for sure, just be sure to make your picks before IW starts. Also hopefully everyone can stay in, I don't think we can afford any more people dropping. I really didn't mean for this to be some huge time-consuming thing for people, it should only take 10 mins max to make your picks for each match. Kinda frustrating to see people dropping for lack of time yet still able to play the other games. :?

Nope.

Pick five like you have and you keep them throughout this round, which is round 4. I believe IW is the only tournament we have to watch for scores this round because it is a masters series tourny.

Yes. You pick 5 players before each matc starts and.those are.your players for the duration of the match. Some matches span multiple tournaments and weeks as well...so you need to choose wisely. This match though is just for Indian Wells. Once a player loses you do not replace him..you jist hope your players do better then your opponent (me for this match). Best of luck...well..maybe not since you are playing me....hahah just kidding. Hope you stick around and have fun

It's a rotating selection order, meaning you move up a spot in the picks for every match. So since you picked 10th this time, you'll pick 9th in Miami, and so on until you pick 1st, then you go back to 10th.

Remember Match 1 was the Preseason Match, so Match 5 in the Spreadsheet = Match 4 of the Season.
