I always thought tennis balls were green. Ive never seen a yellow tennis ball?
would that be blasphemy?!?
my aging eyes have trouble picking up the ball on red clay, especially if the camera angle is too high!
instead of the normal yellow, how about a more greenish yellow...or, wait for it, a pale blue would offer excellent contrast!
just do it already
most do have some green, but more yellow in my opinion.I always thought tennis balls were green. Ive never seen a yellow tennis ball?
It’s the color it is because it’s easiest for the players to see.would that be blasphemy?!?

Get your eyes checked.
You might want to post this letter to the FO, not the tennis warehouse forum.

The official ball color is Optic Yellow...as in yellow.most do have some green, but more yellow in my opinion.

I don’t think they actually expect anyone to watch clay court tennis so it really doesn’t matter
Wait, your telling me my complaints and opinions are not being sent directly to the ATP, the big 3, and slam executives?

Yeah I've had blue balls occasionally
I would be happy if they played on black clay or something.
Yeah they're basically highlighter yellow; like primarily yellow with a hint of green.Dude even Federer said the balls are yellow when asked about this nonsense.
They might be green-ish when they’re really old. Not sure if that counts.
New balls are shiningly yellow.
Actually a few years ago - in 2012, the year of blue clay, Barcelona open had the idea of playing with blue balls (lol) but they dropped the idea after heavy criticism.would that be blasphemy?!?

You are hilarious but the OP has a valid question. It sucks when you have a problem with your eyesight and you can't see the ball. No matter that I have the 'best TV, whatever', I'm struggling when I watch clay matches sometimes. Well, I'm an old fart I guess .I don’t think they actually expect anyone to watch clay court tennis so it really doesn’t matter
That’s funnyThey're the exact opposite of bananas...at first they're yellow and then they turn green after awhile.
MY TV IS HD AND I STILL HAVE PROBLEMS SEEING THE BALL.You will not believe it, I was thinking the same thing while watching Rome masters. It's not a HD TV and it's very difficult to watch the ball. At times, I have to check the score to know who won the point, when balls go close to the line.
I really was feeling bad. Blue should be better
i do, i have to make it very dark and up the contrast to 100%.Can’t you adjust the color settings on your television?
