What they really need to do is play all clay tournies at altitude and dye the clay blue! Easier to see, more aggressive play and Fed gets to 110 next year!

My Dad used to claim he had headaches after watching Clay matches... not sure if that was cause Nadal was winning (he did not like him) or if he was straining his eyes to see the ball.

Penn released a blue ball for prostate cancer and it ended up being dark and drab. Hard to play with and ugly.

They might be green-ish when they’re really old. Not sure if that counts.

You will not believe it, I was thinking the same thing while watching Rome masters. It's not a HD TV and it's very difficult to watch the ball. At times, I have to check the score to know who won the point, when balls go close to the line.
I really was feeling bad. Blue should be better

there is just not enough contrast between a yellowish ball and bright red/orangish clay!

If you had a serious lack of red cones in your eyes, yellow would appear light green.
