So lucky. What size did you get? Might have to keep an eye out as we seem to chase after the same player issue shoes!

haha! These are UK10.5. Very tempted to get these signed and framed by the player theywere produced for.
I still have those Tiafoe ones too from last year. Got these even cheaper than them too!!!

Apart from being very nice IMO, have you tried them yet? How do they feel in terms of cushioning, comfort and foot support?

How's that??
Those look nothing like any version of Barricades in the past...

Ah, yes, the laces...

Andy Murray's shoes is obviously a custom mold of Barricade 2014, while Jamie's is like a crossbreed of Barricade circa 2016 and Adizero Feather III. Just look on the overall silhouette, of course they had to overlay some self-patented UA materials to avoid copyright infringement. But the overall mold is clearly still Adidas. Look at the tongue materials, the sole from the Feather, and outsole of Barricade. it's one of the reason for sure why UA didn't release it to public. At least Jamie's design isn't too obvious, compared to Andy's which is clearly a Barricade ripoff.

Their UA shoes are mostly based from the Adidas shoes they last wore. Plus UA not having experience in Tennis and no prior models, so maybe that explains why they opted to reverse engineer Adidas shoes, instead of designing from scratch.

Is it just me who find weird and kind of gross about wearing used shoes? Specially sports worn shoes.
I agree but kind of a cool find with these considering they were never on the market. Can’t say I’d personally wear UA shoes but cool nonetheless.

Since I have used all of the above mentioned shoes, and Adizero Feather 3s are my GOAT shoe, I think that I can say a word about the similarities.

Firstly, let me say that these shoes are a very nice looking shoes, as they look low to the ground, nimble, lightweight and yet sturdy (qualities that are almost diametrally opposite).

The outsole pattern is unqestionably Adidas. The wide "clay" ridges with flat peaks are instantly recognisable. The overall shape of the out- and midsole and its support is also unquestionably Vapor Tour 9.5. The low profile plus the way the TPU support makes the transition to the sole is very typical with the TPU going a bit higher than with the Vapors. It is not Barricade or Feathers 3: they run higher at the back and the connection is different, with different iterations with the Barricades and the plastic heel cup of the Feathers. The shape of the toe box is that of the Feathers as is the upper at least as a design of the protection.

I actually spoke with another player who wore these shoes and he said they aren’t great. For me the fit is great, I always put a thicker inner sole in my tennis shoes anyway so the comfort level is snug. Haven’t got them on court yet but as soon as I do I’ll do up a mini review.

these are brand new. Never worn

UA copies these from adIdas. There is no need to sugar coating this fact. Would be funny to see them in store some day.

Really disappointed with Under Armour the moment I saw Murray gear and then later shoes, it was their chance to make a statement in the Tennis World, but they chose to provide Murray average design Apparel and Adidas ripoff shoes. I think it's more of UA being lazy, we know what happens next. They thought getting Murray was more than enough already. Look at Asics risk when they signed Novak, the mold and design was way different from Novak's last worn Adidas shoes.
