this may have been answered before but i would really like to know when TW will have the vapor V in stock. i've almost completely worn out my last pair of vapor iv and would really like to know how long of a wait it's going to be. thanks in advance

i have the grey AO open ones the red ones and the blue us open ones. my favourtie shoe so far thats why i'm really looking forward to wearing the new ones to see how they improved the shoe

i really like this shoe the vapor V i like it but i think the nadal shoes are more confortable than vapor V who knows

The listing notes the sizing as true. I have worn the Vapor Speed 2 (the one with the air bubble that shows and the silver caging). I wore an 11.5 since it was recommended to go a 1/2 size up. I normally wear an 11. This shoe is definetly true to size? so its a bit larger than the Vapor Speed 2?

Yes fit is bigger than the Vapor S2. Plenty of length room in this version.

Do you know if tw will carry the vapor V in black? The black color vapor V might be a limited edition version vapor V, though I am not sure. At the moment, the vapor V on tw.com is in white/navy. Thanks in advance

The fit of the Vapor IV's are also true to size and so fit larger than the Vapor Speeds. Although I haven't tried the Vapor V's yet, I understand they fit similar to the Vapor IV's. The sizing of the Vapor Speeds were just way off.

That is my main issuie w/Nike...sizing! I have wanted the BF 2 for some time. Since I wore an 11.5 in the VS2 I figured I could still fit in a 12 BF2, I was walking around in boats. So I sold them around the same price I paid. I purchased another pair (11.5), again these were just too big. I sold them at a loss. Now I can't find the 11 in BF2 (at least under $75 shipped).

I just had my VS2 air bubble pop, soi I want to replace them with another Vapor. I have to call Nike on Monday to see if they will send me a voucher for the air buibble popping. if they do, I will wait for the Vapor V in black.

I've heard that if the shoes were manufactured within two years ago, then you may have a shot at getting them replaced by Nike for the popped air bubble. However, since the Vapor Speeds were three generations ago, I'm pretty sure all of them would have been made well over 2 years ago. But call Nike anyway as you have nothing to lose. BTW, if you look at the label under the tongue, the date they were made should be stamped on there.

Have you seen pics of the black V? they look odd. it seems as if the skin is some type of mesh instead of the syn leather.

we have very few places that sell tennis shoes. Not one sells Nike. I also had a sizing issue w/the Oscillates. I had to send them back and re-rorder the proper size.

I've only seen these two pics of the black Vapor V's:

Comparing the black version above to the white version below, the sides of the white versions with all the perforations do make it look like as if the uppers were made of mesh, even though I don't think they are. Perhaps the black verisons just bring that out even more?

The Vapor III's are what i have and they black/blue one look exactly like the one Fed's wearing except they are blue lines instead of the swiss signs.

I just called Nike. They have a 2 year policy for returns. I am SOL.

I'm not mad because I did get use out of them. I wore them 1-2 week for almost a year. They were just starting to get worn on parts of the soile..another 5-6 wearings and they would have been pretty shot anyway.

I will now wear my Oscillates until the new colorway of the Vapor 5 come out...Fed's black Vapors looked really nice last night and I loved the V2. I will do a search to see what kind of feedback people give for the Vapor 5 before I make a final decision. Hopefully they get good reviews.
