If it wasn't for the isometric head shape I would say that is the same prototype that is using Madison Keys

Vika has been carrying Nike bags and playing with unstencilled racquets for the last year she was playing...Yonex has been picking up a ton of pros as of late...

Seems to have the profile (beam thickness) consistent with the Ezone DR line so most likely some version of the Ezone DR 100.

It's an EZONE DR98. You can easily see the yellow grommets on the bottom of the head.
That doesn't have to be an indicator - keep in mind that Kyrgios also has a blue grommet strip and he plays with a Xi, not Dr.
If it's a blacked out retail then yes, that would be a DR. Though I agree with lidoazndiabloboi that it looks more like a 100. Although you know that the angle can play tricks on the eyes...

It has six yellow grommets in the throat, indicating it is the 100. The 98 has eight blue/yellow throat grommets.

Would be dr 100, the yellow grommet is 6, not 8.

Btw, is yonex going to release new ezone? They just released plus length DR, would be bad move if new Ezone is released

Haven't seen anything floating around, but people are expecting new ezones in a few months. With the DR line we had some pictures of the line to hype things up months before they actually went on sale, but this year nothing so far.

It is a bit odd releasing the original ones, then the blue ones, then extended blue ones...I don't think they should make any significant changes this year, but we'll see what happens.

I love the excitement of new racket launches....especially around grand slam timing..
the 2 strip brand should put a few teasers out there in the hands of a few top pros this summer..Just like W and H have done in past..

Good... Yonex makes good racquets..
It does appear they are on the move to sign more proven Champions as well as next Gen Stars
good for them..

Depends what frame she has .I have tried ALU in my yonex and if she is using an ezone xi I found the ptp compliments it better but she may used to ALU after years and years .

Vika uses really round hoops. She was an Extreme user.. moved over to Pro Open/Juice lines. So this is a drastic change, no?

So if she's using the 100, do you think Yonex is making a softer version for her? The stock Yonex 100s' are usually in the high 60s on flex, but the liquidmetal instinct (PT161) was in the low 60s.

The last racquet was a Wilson Ultra 100. Wilson and herself never re-signed; and she was using this racquet without the "W" or the Wilson branded bag.
