Watching a video of myself for the first time was such an eye opener

I always thought I had a mixture between the Delpo and fed forehand. It goes like a rocket can’t lie. The end product is great. But I hate the stroke itself. It’s hideous. Like I said I thought it was federer and Delpo hybrid. It used to look like Delpos when I was 12. And lately I’ve realised pointing the racket forward on the take back, like the next gen take back, has been working for me in terms of the ball quality. And so have been doing that for a few months. And now, watching the video, I hate lore forehand. It’s like a Kyrgios and Djokovic mixture. I thought I had a eastern grip. But turns out it’s a bit more extreme. Somewhere between eastern and semi western. And what’s the worst thing? It’s a BENT ARM FOREHAND. WTAF???!?!?

And then comes the footwork and posture. I was aware I didn’t have good footwork. But my gosh was this an unpleasant surprise. Completely upright body. No athletic posture at all. And the footwork was actually decent and looks good. But the posture was horrific. Made me look incredible lazy. After watching it, I tried to focus on getting lower and using my legs more, and my gosh the difference in topspin was ridiculous. So I definitely know to carry that on. And I’m thinking I’m gonna switch racquets as well to something lighter. Using RF97. And I think that’s partly to blame for the ugly forehand. I love the RF97. Produces an incredible ball. And I can put the ball on a dime. I love hitting the forehand with it.

And so think I may go with the 360 speed mp. 318 sw. Perhaps the more manoeuvrable stick will help me to have more control over the racquet, and also add some additional rpm.

I don’t think you have a right to leave everyone in suspense by telling all this stuff and not posting a video!

RF97A? Some of like not only the FH, but feel that the 1HBH has never been better....

Just like the camera adds 10lbs, it takes away 20mph on the serve, cuts our speed in half, regresses our form by 3 levels, etc.

The great thing is that it does the same for everyone. Well, except pros: they use those special filters that make them look super awesome good. :p

Many don't hit with a true straight arm except for Verdasco and Nadal. Even Federer's forehand is usually not straight. It's not just a matter of letting the arm and elbow be loose. The biomechanics is little different in a DB vs a SA.
