What happened to Tipsarevic?

At the start of this season, he won a 250 event that started in december 31, 2012, which no one played. So after the first week of January, he's 7-10 this season.

And he's still ranked 11, I believe he doesn't deserve to be a top 20 player. He's just too overranked.

Any thoughts?

The World Rankings are based on each player's results from the previous 52 weeks, at all times. If you want a list based on the present calendar year alone, check out the Race.

He's no Paul Oakenfold ,Car Cox, or Sash either, ATP Tennis is where he made his mark , he should stick with that.

Tiesto is overrated

I like his earlier trance stuff, newer stuff is still great, and concert wise he kills it (best electronic music concert i've ever been, cr0wd was having a blast...way more so than the David Guetta concert the day before)

Clearly you've never been to any good electronic music events. They both make commercial fodder aimed at people with no more than a passing interest in electronic music.

Took a few years but Tips wife's Dream Killer skills have kicked in with full effect.

Also, guys who hit flat have a much lower margin for error. And his serve doesn't get him a ton of cheap points.

What's wrong with commercial fodder, are you saying you don't eat at Mcdonalds or shop at Walmart?

I like Chicane, Paul van dyk (seen him), prodigy, above & beyond, etc. hopefully i can go to theirs one day. Thing is old school trance is my stuff and that rarely gets made nowadays.

his underbite has meant he is actually eating his own face :)

..and a lack of a face has caused him to lose focus on court, and thats why he has gone a bit rubbish lately.

He just lost to Guido Pella, an Argentine qualifier, ranked 101 in straight sets. 6-1 in the second set.

Now he's 7-11 this season since January.

I'm pretty sure he was tempted to retire when he was losing 5-1 in the second set.

I think things were starting to go wrong for him when he changed his strings (from Black Code to Razor Code).
So maybe a switch back to Black Code will bring him back on the right path.
