If its any of the big 3 against one another yes i'll try to go as I just think the experience will be beyond epic as the hype would be unreal and obviously may never happen again as I am assuming the young generation may actually at some point make some impact.

Another final between Djokovic v Nadal would be awesome! With so much on the line too! Plus both have 3 us opens each! Nadal leads H2H at us open 2-1, so that on the line too! Both can smell feds slam record, so the tension would be huge. A fedal semi would be good too, as they never played at us open! I think Nadal would have the edge on Fed at us open!

A fedal semi would be epic with noler vs the winner. We need vengeance for the uso 2013 beet down! Love to see murray get back to wimbledon. We still need vengeance for that 2013 wimbledon butt whoop! Ugly ugly losses in 2013 ugh!

That's pretty much the only way to remove all doubt. Even then it's close with Laver.

In 1963 Laver couldn't have won any slams that year.... he won no pro slams either..... in 1964 I give him 3/4....in 1965 he wins 2/4 so far 5 slams....1966 I say he wins 3/4 so 8 slams now.....In 1967 he does the Calendar SLAM so wins 4/4 that year and is on 12 slams...... in 1968 he wins Australian Open and Wimbledon 1968 so 2/4 that year to take him to 14........ in 1969 he does the CALENDAR SLAM...4/4 so now he on 18 slams...... after 1969 no more SLAMS factually correct. I say Federer has surpassed Laver.

Djokovic: Pass Fed in slam count and weeks at #1. That’s it.

Rafa: Win double CYGS and at least one other non-hard court slam, win WTF, and lead Fed and Djoker by at least 2 slams (assuming that weeks at no. 1 is out of reach for him). This I think would objectively make his achievements better. However, unless Nadal starts winning a bunch of Wimbledons I don’t know if some fans will ever consider him GOAT no matter how many overall slams he wins.

So only one FO good enough for Fed or Nole but two Wimbledons not enough for Rafa?

Win 21 slams would set the deal for me. As much as I hate to admit, Djokovic would also already be ahead with 20. If he gets to 20 he will most likely surpass Fed in weeks at No.1, will be ahead in masters, H2H, slam H2H, most likely at least equal in WTF even the surface distribution argument would not hold water here (even though for me this is irrelevant anyways a slam is a slam). The only thing where Federer would still be ahead would be total number of tournaments won, which is meaningless.

It just feels the past 18 months has been building towards Nadal v Djokovic final at USO. For me it would be the GOAT decider.

It's scary to think Nadal or Djokovic could surpass Federer. One would have thought something like this would last much longer?

Perhaps Federer will continue his legacy with doubles as Navratilova did once his singles start suffering.
