What's your opinion on the 2009 Nike collection

Hi guys. While I don't own a big collection of Nike clothes, I have been buying some of their stuff over the last few years (since 2007) and I've noticed some changes in their quality. I really liked some of the stuff they had in 2008 and particularly 07 but I'm not as happy with some of what they've released in 2009. What do you think, has the quality been declining on some things or is it just me?

Yea, I agree with you. In my opinion, most of Nike's items released in 2009 aren't as great as the '07/'08 gear. Nonetheless, still digging the wristbands, hats, etc...

As far as the designs, I really like Federer's clay court stuff, especially the polos. I prefer Vapor Vs to VI's.

Both. I'm not happy with the Nike shirts that have the painted on stripe across the chest.

Nike's apparel designs this year has been abominable. Some of the worst I've seen in my entire life. Spring 2010 looks a bit better, but still a long way from some of the good stuff a few years ago IMO.

It's way too long and doesn't really resemble the shirt Nadal had in Australia because the turquoise is much darker. The pink stripe is poorly made. Shortly after I started wearing the shirt, the pink stripe across the chest began to crack. It looks ok right now but I think in a few month it may be unwearable.

The 09 designs are so bad with the exception of some Fed polos.

All the accessories SUCK. Not one good headband. The one they claim Fed uses he never used. Does anyone know what headband he will use for the summer season.

I really liked Rafa's FO outfit. That flamingo (not pink) polo with the yellow stripe and dark turquoise swoosh struck me as consummately stylish.

Not to stir up any more controversy about it but, imo, it takes a man to carry off that color. Rafa is such a man -- great choice, Nike!

I think Nike's been pretty horrible this year. Adidas was decent at best. I've really liked Fred Perry this year.

yes... those are the Nike air Zoom Oscillates (as used by sampras since 1994\5) in 2009 Hard court and Clay Colorways. i gather they are european exclusive! i have a pair of the clay ones!

Nadal AO outfit is great, also the Cotton Candy Ballistec was a really cool addition to my collection everything else is so bad.
This year Adidas collection is great specially on tops.
During 2006, 2007 and 2008 i bought most of the Federer and Nadal collections at it' was great, this year i'm saving my money.. thanks nike

Fed's polos this year have way better quality than 07/08.
Don't know about other stuff though.
