I'm down with EVH, just not that song.
Fond memories of Jump by VH. Used in a lot of aerobics classes I attended in the 80s / 90s. Also served as an
anthem for quite a few sports teams & sporting events.
Regarded by many as a driving & powerful expression of unadulterated fun / joy. Rather ironic, since the song lyrics by DL Roth was originally inspired by a
suicidal jumper ("go ahead and jump"). That aside, David Lee dedicated the song to his martial arts sensei, "The Jet". (John Cusack was another student of "The Jet").
A little bit unusual for a VH song since the instrumental side of it was driven primarily by the keyboards and percussion rather than the EVH guitar.
