Fed with djoker BH

Or

Djo with Feder FH...

Consider, we're talking about regular wins over Rafael Nadal, the king of clay in BO5 format. Not like upsets by 2009 soderling or 2015 djok win when nadal wasn't in a good form..
Also, please give reasons why you've chosen 1 combo over other....

Federer literally does everything better than Djokovic other than the backhand and the return.

Djokovic tactically seems to be able to control some matches v Nadal. Fed just seems to hang in on clay.

Djokovic also is the fitter, and IMO mentally tougher. With Fed's forehand and possibly overhead smash, he would seriously hurt Nadal on clay.

He won't even need federer's net skills if he can just have his FearHand... Imo

Okay, I understand, but still not as much..
But what would be your choice out of the two given options???
Djokovic with the Federer forehand. I don't think either is particularly favored to win in BO5 against Rafa, but given that Djokovic can hang in there with him as shown in 2012 (parts) and 2013, as well as all the other clay matches they've played, I think the definite player to improve upon should be Djokovic.

Djokovic gets the leg up on Nadal when his flexibility, speed, and placement all come together. All that on top of a GOAT forehand? Placement would be significantly better, since both wings would be extremely dangerous, Nadal would be prone to changes in direction, and the flexibility could help him prolong rallies he should have lost by any reasonable standard 4 shots ago.

I wouldn't say it's a major difference between modified Djokovic and modified Federer, but I think the better baseliner would have the better chance against Nadal.
