Which poly reel to buy that works well in full bed + hybrid?

@nov - That's been my experience with full bed Firewire, and it still occurs when using Ghost Wire in the crosses (ie. "Firewire Boost" as T1 calls it), albeit to a much lesser degree. I'm still on the fence as to whether I'll continue to play Boost, or most onto another combo. The one thing I really do love about Firewire is the rubbery/gummy feel coupled with excellent tension maintenance. Almost no other sharp shaped poly I can think of has that combo of playability and tension maintenance. The errant launch issue is real, though, for sure.

I think the best is Tourna Silver 7.
660' for <$100.

I use that for the mains (50#) for the 17G. You could go lower in tension. I don't know what the 16G should be at. The 17G strings are stiff and 50# is 8# lower than my usual main tension with 16G Alu Power Rough.
Then I use Prince Syn Gut for crosses at 10% higher tension (like 55#).

With both strings as reels, for my rackets (14x16), it comes out to <$5 per racket total! It might be a little higher cost per with denser string patterns.

I love the combination for cost.

The silver 7 is a co-poly, so it can be full bed, too.

@kdm711 , I string like you do, just for a few friends and an occasional "can you help me out." I discourage people from coming to me to string. I play with two kinds of strings now, except for a few experimental sets. I have multiple reels of Prince Diablo 17g and OGSM in all the gauges including a reel of 15L Proform Tuff. I tell anyone, "I only have two kinds of string and if you don't like those you better bring me some string that you like." You can usually get Prince Diablo 17 or 16 on semi frequent sales on TW for 69.00. I'm going to go one step further in the future. I ordered two reels of Gosen Polylon for 49.00 each as I like Diablo 17 and will tell any askers that I have Polylon and OGSM, period.

Actually about to do that. Which gauge do you prefer? I also emailed them to see if they'd help me out with the discount difference, we'll see!
I got 4 different types of reels (they are probably 1.23), Tour HexX2, Hit Pro, Big Spin and Hepta Power + individual sets of each poly.

Other people are much more experienced with these strings, such as @Venusmen and @galapagos

The owner is in Western Ukraine, in a war, he might or might not have time to answer, but he is a nice guy.

depends on the racquet. 90 % of the time it's better to use thinner gauges unles you are a massive string breaker.
My favourites are Tour Hex and Hit Pro but I can see Big Spin as a very good seller (easy spin, and very comfortable which many rec. players seek), Hepta power is maybe most lively and makes every frame very friendly. Opens up the sweet spot, great comfort and power with linear response. It's like tourna silver 7 tour but much more softer.

really loving firestorm…durability could been an issue but it is soft spin friendly with great ball pocketing
